excellent place to stay in town and friendly staff. very clean property and newly renovated. its under new management really enjoy our stay and will come back again for sure to stay. 50 inch smart tv was surprising.

I recently booked two reservations at your hotel in Northfield, MN through Hotels.com. for the same timeframe - 3/26/22 - 3/28/22 for both reservations. All in all the accommodations were less than what I would expect for the price I paid. I do have a couple of observations though that I wanted to convey. The front desk has a sign to indicate a non-smoking property including marijuana - When we arrived at the hotel there a very distinct and strong odor of 'weed' throughout the hallways and lobby. We checked into our rooms and the smell was not present in the room thankfully. However, throughout our stay, the smell got stronger and more prevalent - indicating someone was smoking in the hotel. It occurs to me that the sign they have in each room and in the lobby indicating a non-smoking facility and a $250 fee for violations will simply make their guests smoke in the hallway rather than in their room. That way they will not incur a cleaning fee. The front desk staff didn't seem to care at all. We had an issue with the TV in our room and had the front desk person come up to check it out - he ended up jumping up on the desk to look behind the TV, knocking our items off the desk and dresser in the process. Not only that, he was only wearing flip-flops so his nasty bare feet were on our stuff. I realize there has been a recent renovation (partial) of this hotel however it is obvious the carpet is still the old carpet as it was not clean - it felt like it was caked with filth, and the other furniture was from the old hotel management - the couch was broken and the chair was in poor shape - I would think a renovation would also include furniture replacement/repair. We were upgraded to a "suite" but the sink in the sitting area wouldn't drain, the cabinets that were supposed to house a fridge and microwave were empty with holes in the wall behind them. The bathroom towels were very old and threadbare and barely served the purpose of being a towel - there were no extra towels in the room in case we needed one, and our room was not serviced at all while we were there. There were other things that I could pick on, but you get the idea. For the price, it didn't quite meet expectations, and certainly did not exceed in any way.

The room was just OK. There was rarely anybody at the front desk so you had to use a pager device to get assistance. The breakfast was substandard - mainly baked goods. After eating at the restaurant the first day, we went across the street to eat breakfast at a restaurant the second day. It was adequate, that's all.

La camera è molto spaziosa e luminosa, anche se c'e' un po' di umidità. Buon arredamento, con frigo, microonde e ampio TV piatto. Spazioso anche il bagno. Pulizia sufficiente. La colazione è sufficiente, un po' di scelta di piatti dolci, possibilità di prepararsi i waffel. Qualche yogurt e latte freddo, tostiera e qualche marmellata. Ma è sempre disponibile caffè e acqua calda per il te. Comunque la struttura si trova sulla strada principale, con possibilità di parcheggio gratuito.
