Good stay in basic apartment

Communication with host after booking and before arriving was very easy. Getting access to the apartment was very easy as codes to doors are sent to you in advance. It all worked really well and I loved not having to carry keys with me all the time. The apartment is in close proximity to the city centre (no more than 10 minute walk). It's surrounded by flats and there is a bakery and yard next door. Both of whom are not an issue. Parking is available for all 4 flats, however, the parking spaces are very, very tight, especially if your car is medium size or bigger. There was a van in one of the parking spaces when I stayed and that made parking in the other bays even more cramped. It is nice to have parking with the flat though. Flat 96D is on the back of the property on the first floor where it is very quiet. The stairs are manageable, but can imagine people saying they are steep. The kitchen has the basics handy like plates, cups, glasses, bowls, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, some pans, cutlery. The coffee and tea provided was nice. There was a fan and the sofa was nice to sit on. TV with lots of channels and well working wifi. Very small dining table. Bedroom with comfortable two single beds was small, no room for suitcase. The beds were long enough for people of over 6ft. Bathroom also small, but everything you'd need was there. I picked the hottest week of the year to stay at the apartment, and because there are only vertical blinds and no curtains it was a sauna. It was unbelievably/uncomfortably hot. If there had been curtains I'm sure it would have been cooler and it would have made for better sleeping, as now there was no way to black out daylight in the bedroom. Another thing I would have liked, was some softer lighting. There are ceiling spots throughout the apartment which provide lots of light, however, they are very bright and not nice to have on all the time. A table lamp and bedside table lamp would have been much appreciated.
Perfect Stay for a concert

I booked this apartment to attend a concert at Carrow Road. The stay was perfect. The apartment is located a short walking distance from the town centre and within easy walking distance to Carrow Road. The communication with the apartment’s owner was excellent. The accommodation was as new and very clean. Additionally she had provided us with additional extra’ s; a pint of milk in the fridge ,tea bags, coffee sachets and biscuits. Towels and shower gel are also included. My friend was particularly impressed with the fan in the bedroom as it was quite a warm night. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Comfortable and convenient

The property was modern with free parking right outside. The arrangements for access to the property were flawless and well explained by Felicity. The apartment was scrupulously clean, with a large well appointed living area/kitchen. Good, quiet location, with just a short stroll into the centre of Norwich. Nearby are useful local shops and a number of reasonable pubs. The stairs to the apartment were narrow, twisting and steep; if you have mobility issues, request a ground floor apartment. The bedroom was very small and cramped, and although it had ample storage, access to it was not easy. There were no bedside lights, but the beds were comfortable enough.

We come to Norwich often and usually stay in hotels. It was really nice to have an apartment for a change. When I googled it I was worried as it looked as if it was in a rough area. It is on the outskirts of a clean and tidy social housing estate and absolutely fine. It was easy to find and free parking in a city a bonus. There are three good size apartments and very secure with security camera's present. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would suggest a lamp in the lounge and bedroom as spots are a bit harsh in the evening. Blackout blind in the bedroom would be great. Overall a great base for exploring Norwich and shopping.
Needs a bit more to be great

Brilliant location, parking makes the difference. Very difficult to find, it’s behind Butlers vegetarian place which is closed and in front of the builders yard. You may find yourself driving up and down the street past the blocks of flats but it’s tucked away and not east to see. Clean, tidy, towels and bedding supplied but kitchen is a bit basic- no bread knife or chopping board. Lovely big shower and heating easy to control. Wi-fi has a weak signal so not very reliable. Could do with a table/ bar and stools
