Very warm reception on a rainy night!

Very nice reception on a rainy night! We felt really taken care off. Super warm and friendly staff! We stayed one night as a stop over on our trip from Spain to Poland. The hotel has all you need at a standard you expect from Novotel hotels. Thank you.

perfect location, near the motorway and also near the trade fair. You can have dinner in the restaurant or enjoy a drink at the bar. In summer you can swim in the pool, in winter you can relax in the wellness area.
Staff nice but mildew smell strong and maintenance issues
Reviewed 1 may, 2022
I spent three days at this hotel last weekend and was very disappointed. After spending a night there, I was very surprised to spot a bronze-colored plate at the entrance proclaiming this was a four-star hotel. I have stayed in many four-star hotels and cannot imagine how anyone could claim this was anything better than a two-star facility. The smell of mold and mildew hit me as I entered the lobby but it had been a long journey and I had a lot to do ahead of me, ao I hoped it was just a bad smell in the lobby. The reception desk staff was friendly and efficient but my the stained carpets in the hallways to my room and also my room both had the same bad smell. There were closed windows and doors at the end of each hall, on which signs said that according to their ventilation concept, these window and doors should always be left open. Every time I left or returned to the room, the bad smell and closed windows and doors greeted me. See photos for examples of lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The mold and mildew by the window did not suddenly arise; that mess has been growing for quite a while. The carpets in the halls were dirty and smell bad. Both the safe and the makeup mirror in my room were broken. I alerted the front desk but no effort was made to address either problem and there was no offer to move me. Because of the smell, and in accordance with their stated ventilation concept, I had the window open in my room at all times. The traffic noise from the highway directly outside of rhe hotel was very loud. I had a very full schedule while there and no time to find another dog-friendly hotel or I would have tried to leave for cleaner facilities. The price was far too high for these dirty and moldy conditions. The staff was friendly and competent. The €11/day parking fee should have been more prominently featured in the advertisementa for the hotel or included in the price as there was nowhere else within a reasonable distancw where one could park. I won’t be returning and I would not recommend this hotel to a friend or colleague. I now have doubts about the Novotel brand.
Not the best of all Novotels

As a regular customer of Novotel, we decided to spend a night here on our way to Austria. Not a bad choice, but this Novotel is kind of dated. For example the carpets were really old and lots of spots on it. Furthermore the interior felt old. You can't go wrong with this hotel, but in comparison to Ibis this is overpriced in our opinion.
Fit for purpose

This is not really high standard or anything very special however when you need a place to stay in transit then it is close to the highway, good enough standard and value for money. We have stayed there before and most likely we will stay there again
