Quite satisfactory

Reviewed 15 march, 2020

We were on the Second Floor and had to carry our bags up which really was not much of a problem as we travel light. The room was clean and the beds, two double beds, were nice and firm permitting two nights of good sleep. Nice pool and a terrace where we gathered as a group to talk, gossip and drink. The breakfast was limited. Close to shopping mall. This Hotel served as the base to visit Monte Alban.

A good option at Oaxaca City

Reviewed 30 december, 2019

We stayed at this hotel by December and we enjoy the experience. The rooms are comfortable and the service is very good. The parking is limited so we suggest that arrive early by night or leave the car and take a taxi to downtown Oaxaca for a dinner.

Very good for the price

Reviewed 22 june, 2019

For the price (I paid $33 per night plus taxes and fees for a double room), this is a very solid choice. It has a nice pool and restaurant, and its layout definitely puts you into a vacation mode. The rooms are spacious enough and clean, have hot water and air conditioning, and secure gated parking (uncovered) is available. The only true disadvantage to this hotel is its distance from the centro, which is a pretty significant walk, or a taxi (50-100 pesos) each time you want to go anywhere. Some of the complaints in the other reviews make me laugh: if you're expecting high-end U.S. standards for less than $40 at a major travel destination (almost anywhere, really), you may need to recalibrate those expectations. Fancy hotels are definitely available in Oaxaca, but be ready to pay U.S. prices for those standards! For everybody else, this is an awesome choice that is scenic, relaxing, and good for both business and family.

Open motel style with pool

Reviewed 19 march, 2019

Nice individually set rooms. Comfortable and added pleasure of having a swimming pool. Good restaurant, but breakfast choices were a bit limited. Didn't see any lift, so access could be an issue to the first floor. The hotel was very quiet, so being on the ground floor near the pool was not an issue.

Univited Amphibians

Reviewed 18 december, 2018

The room I was in had quite a bit of traffic noise, although it was tolerable. However, the morning I checked out there was a small salamander in my bed. It was quite the surprise since I have a strict policy of not sleeping with amphibians.
