Lovely setting nice pool but room was very damp/musty
I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4. The first room was lovely, nice and big and bright, the second room was almost unusable due to the smell of damp, we just used it to sleep in and after a nights sleep there our pyjamas had the same strong smell on them. We did ask to change rooms when we first booked in but they were fully booked. Apart from that we did think it was a nice place with a good pool and lovely gardens although the welcome could have been better compared to other places we stayed. If you stay here ask for a room away from the damp side of the house.
A Great Place to Stay
It may be a bit hard to find, but we greatly enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good, yogurt, fresh fruit, meat, cheese, juice, coffee, and a variety of breads. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
Pleasant stay
Very nice hotel. Helpful staff. Full breakfast of excellent quality. Large room, good beds, very clean. Good value for money. Close to the tourist attractions of Óbidos, Portugal. I recommend it when visiting the area.
Pleasant Rural property
We stayed here for a night as a staging point to Obidos. We had a lovely apartment, slept 2 adults and 2 children without difficulty. Continental breakfast in the morning was lovely. we would have no hesitation returning to stay.
One night stay in July
We arrived at 12:30 pm and was greeted by a rather unfriendly clerk and told we must come back at 3. So, we went into town and returned at 3 and was shown yo our room .We are on the 2nd floor in a bright, spotless room with a nice beeze. The bathroom and closet are 3 steps down. Great bathtub, water pressure, toilet and bidet. Property has a lovely living room and billiards table for guest's use. Large pool in back but water was a bit too cold for us. In the late afternoon, the desk staff changed to a young man named Daniel. He was excellent! He suggested a local restaurant that was 1/2 the price of lunch and so tasty. Daniel recommended a route for touring tomorrow on our way to Tomorrow. This is a great place to stay but you need a car
