DO NOT STAY HERE! BED BUGS

I have absolutely no idea where any of these positive reviews come from. We attempted to stay here last weekend. Upon entering our room, there was a very odd, distinct horrible smell. We put our belongings down, and were about to settle in, when I saw something on the bed that caught my attention. Low and behold, it was TWO dead bed bugs. My mother was staying in the room down from us, so we quickly gathered our things and went to her room, which had the same horrible odor inside. We told her what we had found in our room, and decided to inspect her bed as well. Upon doing that, we found that the mattress can been cleanly cut open along the entire side, almost as if it was with a knife, and inside were balls of hair, black mold, and several blood stains. The same stains were also found on the sheets. We all scrambled out of the room and went to the front desk. The moment we told the woman at the front desk there were bed bugs in our room, she immediately tried to shush us before we got our sentence out, apparent that it was already a KNOWN problem. She then stated that since it was the weekend, she had to wait for her manager to approve the refund on Monday and there was nothing she could do. She then proceeded to say "You got pictures for proof?" Stunned that she even asked that, I regretted that we hadn't taken any. I asked her for access back to the room to take pictures and she told me that could not be done and we jus now have to wait until Monday for the manager to just approve the refund. Needless to say, Monday rolls around, and we were told NO REFUND WILL BE GRANTED. That was the most gruesome hotel experience of my life, and I want to make sure everyone else is informed of this situation. What if young children were to have slept in those beds? AVOIDTHIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

If no stars were an option. Checked in went to the room for 2 minutes saw bugs on the bed. In addition we had a second room which smelled terrible and the bed had mold on the mattress. The staff had said this would not be a problem and she would refund everything the following day as no manager was available to approve. Then we call since no refund was processed and we are informed the situation could not be confirmed and no refund allowed. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was told no need for me to go take pictures. I even offered to show the front desk attendant. REGARDLESS TERRIBLE experience. I will be posting this on every social media platform and review site humanly possible.

This is my third time staying here, and was incredibly comfortable as always, we just contacted the general Manager Carlos and he got us a nice room, the best welcome and always there for anything we needed… if you are looking for place were really rest after a busy vacation day this is the place!

Best choice to stay in Orlando FL. Good service and good relation price/quality. The hotel and staff as always: Excellent! They are so kind and helpful in the moment to orient and guide you to do in town. I totally recoment this hotel to everyone who want to visit Orlando.

My wife and I spent 3 nights. I was given a paper to sign that listed the cost of each item in the room if broken or stolen. That made me suspicious so I was careful to watch. The next morning housekeeping shorted me a hand towel. I picked up the room phone to report it but the phone didn’t work. I went to the desk, reported the phone and asked for a hand towel. I was handed a wash cloth so I explained it wasn’t a hand towel. I complained about a loud exhaust fan and he said would have a work order issued. The next day I was shorted a washcloth and again got one from the desk. I then noticed the door security latch was missing 3 of its 4 screws so I reported that. I reported 2 missing shower curtain hooks. There was no tissue paper in the room (e.g. Kleenex). There was no "Do Not Disturb" hanger for the door. There was no tray in the shower to hold soap or shampoo. The sink had no plunger rod to close it to safely clean contact lenses. Minimal space was on the single sink for two people to lay out toiletries. Adjacent room alarms woke me early as did voices in the hall at 1 a.m. The air conditioner fan was above average noise level. It was the 3rd night before I received a "sorry" from a new lady at the desk. Nothing was fixed as of the end of the 3 night stay. The OYO corporate responses on negative reviews online are weak. With so much wrong it is evident they lack quality checks nor do not they have normal standards.
