Staying Anywhere Else Is Worth the Investment

The place was undergoing renovations when I stayed here, but they still tried to give me a room that was covered in carpet stains, and smelled like urine. When I went to ask for a new room, their chief concern was that I hadn't paid my pet fee, not that the room smelled like someone took a leak in there three days before and turned the A/C off. I don't care about an extra $25, I care about not sleeping in pee. They finally gave me my room in the renovated area, but there was a chunk of tile in the bath tub along with stains on the bedspread and curtains. To top it all off, the staff was rude and incompetent. I asked for a late checkout and they told me I could buy another day. When I called down to the front desk to tell them about the tile in the bathroom, the person who answered was clueless. Here's how it went: Her: "You can tell it to the night guy, I'm going home." Me: "Who's the night guy? when does he come on?" Her: "He's on at 11." ... (The time was 11:23) ... (30 seconds pass) Me: "Well, do you wanna go get him?" Her: "Sure." (a minute passes) ... (sounds of her checking in a guest) ... (another minute passes) Me: "HELLO?" (I hang up and walk to the front desk) Night Guy: "Can I help you?" Me: "There's a chunk of tile or masonry in my bathtub and I don't want to get charged for it." Night Guy: "And you're just telling us now... because you just now noticed? You didn't look through the room first?" Me: "Right."

I did NOT have high expectations for this location. I am familiar with the brand and know of the many service issues. SO I was VERY pleased to arrive at the lot was clean, the desk staff was professional, the lobby was clean and well appointed, they were going through some updates, the room was perfect! Clean, newly remodeled, and the BEST bed I have ever slept on! GOOD JOB!
Do Not Stay Here

We checked in and got to our room and realized we could not sleep there. Filthy, stinky, stains — a complete dump. The clerk wasn't even surprised when I asked for a refund. We did not get a full one, however. They kept the pet deposit. I will say that the desk clerk was nice.

We stayed for three nights, there were no employees who have been wearing a mask at that time. There is an ordinance for Oklahoma City requiring to wear a mask at public places. So they put a “mask required” notice on the doors and all employees violated the law. We asked a receptionist why she refuses to wear a mask she told its her business. If all employees are antimaskers that’s probably a management problem, I can’t imagine everyone violating the law without managerial support. And yes, I took photos of antimaskers.
Bring extra socks, the carpet will ruin them.

The carpets are terrible - I ruined 3 pairs of socks in my 3 day stay. Rude "manager". Blood stains on the bedding, with no apology. And the smell... I'll save you the details. Just don't stay here. Spend a few extra dollars a night to stay elsewhere.
