Sleep Inn & Suites

I created this account just to review this property because of my recent stay. I've stayed with this property before and the staff service was second to none. That does not seem to be the case now. I don't remember the gentleman's name but the new supervisor seems clueless. I asked him several questions and he didn't know any of them and didn't seem to want to find out the answers. If you are next to a casino, you should know a little about it. The lady that checked me out (Pam?? I think) was more worried about her phone than how my stay went. With all this being said the rooms are still very very clean! There are plenty of clean hotels that I can stay at where the service is much better. It's a little sad because just a few months ago the staff service was on point.

We had some family obligations in the Norman area so we stayed at this hotel. The hotel appeared to be very new and fresh; colors were great and rooms were refreshingly clean. Breakfast sacks are a little low on the ratings mainly due to the seemingly stale muffins. Staff was pretty good. Had a little problem with the payments but hopefully that is all worked out by the end of the day. I wanted to pay for my son's room, but he had already used his card; then they moved his charges over to my card, but he hadn't received a credit on his card as of this morning. One other problem is that walls must really thin because we heard snoring and coughing from the room next door most of the night.

We chose the Sleep Inn in Norman, OK because of the raving review of Melissa (night manager/front desk clerk) on TripAdvisor. Melissa did not disappoint. Upon arrival she greeted us with a smile, understood our special circumstance & the need for a 1st floor room, provided a great food recommendation and made sure to let us know, she was available for any need during our stay. The room was immaculate! The beds were SO comfy and the AC worked at full power. We could not have asked for better accommodations or more welcoming staff. Thank you Melissa and Thank you Sleep Inn.

I booked the room and was advised the card used was just to hold the room. The day before check in a hold was placed on my debit card that was twice the amount of the room. I called and was advised there was no way due to the note on file showing not to run the card. On January 18 I spoke to the manager on duty that advised no charge was showing in their system and the hold would release. Another card had a hold for incidentals. They advised they would comp the room for inconvenience as it was also a holiday weekend. l stayed in room 110 at this location. I called for two weeks trying to resolve the issue with the location. GM would call but still has not. The manager on duty advised the This week the double charge and additional fees hit my bank account. The manager still has not made contact to resolve the issue.

Check in was easy, the room was clean and of a decent size. The hotel is on the smaller side, which we like. The shuttle runs 24 hours a day back and forth to the nearby casino, free of charge. The bed was a little hard for our liking. Overall, a good stay. The best part was the large hot continental breakfast!
