Positive: Great location, cleanliness room and comfy bed. Negative: Room very small for 2 persons, unfriendly staff at front desk, but one manager i met her while checking out. I can’t remember her name. She looks nice, friendly and helpful

My only star in this review goes towards the location of the hotel. As the location is very central to everything in Singapore. However, this hotel is a tourist trap. The restaurant they claim to have is very much closed and by the looks of it has been for a while. There was no breakfast, even though they state there is. The receptionists never even said hello when we came in, not a single time, every time we came back we just got the stares, until we said hi and got a reluctant "hello" back. The pool has been closed for a long time, but is still happily shown on their booking sites, but we were told it's closed until December 22 and possibly longer(I suspect it won't even open back up again.) The bed... Oh the bed... It's as hard as a rock, both my girlfriend and I's backs were completely messed up after our stay (and we were only there for 4 nights). I feel like it would probably be more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Even though the room was clean enough, there was still visible molding in the shower area, so we made sure our AC was running as much as possible. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. The placement is good,but the hotel is simply not up to standard. They did so much just to get a 3 star rating and then closed it down again, this should be a 1 star hostel, that's more how it is.

Good location, pool closed - not mentioned on the booking, restaurant closed but breakfast included in the rate, tiny rooms, thin walls, no water pressure in the shower and no consistent temperature. Stayed 4 nights never again.

I booked the hotel before checking 1 week and . I got email, the booking was cancel when i arrived to Singapore. I called hotel for getting more detail but staff(lady) can't help any more and told me: you have to complain the agent not hotel !!!(disrespectful tone, very rude) I known i have to contact the agent but you would take care your guest more than. Is this how you treat of your guest?

Poor advertising. Initially the listing showed that swimming pool was available. I double checked on Hotel Clover's website and the website did NOT indicate that the pool was closed. Only upon check-in did we realise that the pool was closed. Feedback to Agoda but Agents were uselss as usual in terms of service recovery. Basically, Hotel Clover indicated the pool closure in a tiny little announcement box at the bottom of the listing. Any sane person would check their main website straight right? Considering nothing was mentioned on their website, that's why I booked it. Anyways, Agoda agents were useless and always side the property ahead of their customers. FAILURE TO BOTH AGODA AND HOTEL CLOVER. WILL PURUSE THIS MATTER FURTHER.
