It doesn't get any better.

There were some little mishaps, but, ultimately, I would stay here over and over and over, again. It appears the ice maker was not working. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on and there was no ice. I obtained ice from the hotel ice maker and put it in the ice drawer. I called for a new remote for the master bedroom, but it never came. There was a DVD remote control in that room, but there was no DVD player. The other bedroom and living room each had their own dedicated TV's and DVD players with appropriate remotes. We had a lot of problems with the WIFI. That was something they did address. The WIFI appears to be working to technicians, but the room did not have its own WIFI. The building is designed to share every other room's router. Because this room was so far away from the room it shares a router with, the signal was little to nothing. So, if you end up being in room 1324 in the villas, you're welcome. You now have great WIFI thanks to me. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Lots of square footage for everyone to walk around, sit, etc. The bathrooms are enormous. Especially the master bedroom's shower. It's almost bigger than one of my bathrooms at home. Bell Services and Valet are the best. They earned great tips from us. I could go on and on with the details of the resort/room, but to sum it up.....you won't be disappointed. Just do it. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. Loved every minute of it.

Love the Grand Floridian !

This was our third stay at the GF. Our first in the ‘festive season’. We only had 4 nights as that was all that was available and we also had 2 nights at OKW. We love GF… it’s a beautiful property … the majority of the staff are super friendly and eager to please ( there are a few exceptions unfortunately which was have not experienced before ). It was at full capacity and obviously busy but still felt relaxed and we had no issue with beds at the pool etc. The rooms are fine and comfortable.. we requested to have the beds made every day …. Am reluctant to pay USD 800 a night bad make our own bed. We did experience somewhere noise through the night was our room was close to the service centre … this was not ideal and we needed earplugs !! The parks were insanely busy but this is nothing to with the GF. The transport links to the parks are great , the food and drink we had at the hotel was all very good. We cannot wait to return and I am missing it so so much already !

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When I arrived I was greeted by two women. We had asked for an early check in since my son was getting married there on New Year's Eve. We were told that we would be able to check in early and that they would text us when the room was available, as we were in a room block. We proceeded to give two credit cards, one for incidentals and the other to pay the second night that hadn't been paid yet. After several hours of not getting a response about the rooms availability we went back to the desk. This was after check in time. Our room was still not available. We spoke to a manager who informed us that the room would be available momentarily. Once in the room a strong odor of mold surrounded us. Since we were already late we did not have time to call the front desk. We hoped the smell would subside by the time we returned after rehearsal dinner. Once back for the night the odor was so strong that we were sneezing and could not breathe. We called down to the desk and they offered to put a fumigator in to get rid of the smell. Nobody ever brought the machine up. The next day was the day of the wedding. Still no relief from the odor. We called again and were told the machine would be put in there at 3:00pm which never happened. That night we called again. They finally brought the machine which made the smell even worse. We had no choice but to put the machine in the hallway. After speaking to the head manager John he assured me that the card on file for incidentals would be refunded. This never happened even after several follow up conversations with him. We expected so much more out of this hotel. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It ruined our sons wedding.

Great for Disney access, kids and staff; not good for food especially breakfast options

Reviewed 7 january, 2022

Top tip: food universally bad, rooms all very similar, so go for the cheapest rooms but more of them and aim to eat out (disney springs has the most choice), BEWARE you need dining reservations almost anywhere (inc. breakfast) which must be made weeks in advance and there is NO breakfast incuded anywhere. The good: Amazing pools for kids and adults, variety of temperatures in the pools, toddler pool with slides and play area and pre-teen/teen area with water slide. All pools have bars and simple food suitable for kids Fantastic for early park access and proximity to Magic Kingdom (you only get early access if you are in a Disney resort). Rooms are simple but effective, we had a Lagoon view room, outer building, with 2 queen beds and a sofa that turned in to a single bed, for 5 of us, it worked but was a little tight, next time i would go for a small suite, or 2 connecting rooms. We had a view of the MK and could see the fireworks from our balcony. Staff were charming and very willing to help. The bad: Food pretty awful and the same everywhere (in all of Disney, not just this hotel), our travel agent recommended we did a few days in the Ritz and I am glad we did as the food there is much better. Dining reservations required everywhere and very few sit-down eating options you can just turn up at. No breakfast on offer unless you have a reservation or want to go to the Gasparilla for a hot meal on a par with MacDonadls
