I tried to pay for my son’s breakfast for the duration of his stay over the phone as he thought he had breakfast included. I got passed to 4 different people in 2 different departments and no one would allow me to fo it. Apparently they don’t take payment over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous and so unhelpful.

Excellent Location

Stayed ere for 16 nights from 31/08/2022 and I have to say the hotel was brilliant there was myself and partner in one room and my parents in another. When we arrived we were given a choice of room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was brilliant had two very very comfy beds, plenty of storage for clothes, the air con worked really well and kept the room nice and cool the noise from the unit did not bother us at all. The restaurant on site is fantastic and offers a good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Also in addition the Zebra bar sold food. The Lite Bite shop sold everything you need, some mornings when we wanted a quick breakfast before going to the theme parks we would eat there. We did not higher a car but the car park has plenty of space and free of charge to park there. We used Ubers go get to and from the parks, shops and restaurants (depending on the weather) which was very reliable and good prices. The hotel itself is very well situated to everything you need there is a Walgreens over the road which is open 24 hours which comes in handy, there is an I-Trolley stopped located outside the hotel and one over the road if you don't want to get a Uber to locations up and down I-Drive. The hotel has 3 pools and a gym all kept clean and tidy with plenty of towels available to use. I would highly recommend this hotel to other people and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Orlando.

I’d heard good things about this hotel, but other than it being in a prime location, little else was good. I had asked for a quiet room and was given a room with floors above and rooms to either side. They’d said they may not be able to accommodate my request which is fine, but given the hotel seemed quiet it was disappointing. We were also given block A which is by the bar, thus most noisy I’d assume? Luckily they didn’t have adjoining rooms as there was refurbishment or something (I can’t remember 100%) so we were put in block G. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful though. The first problem we encountered was getting the door open. The handle was stuck and you had to use force to open (and close) the door. Upon opening the door, the room smelt damp which we thought may go after habitation. For the duration of the stay it didn’t, but we had adjoining rooms so it was going to be difficult to move. I was left with a chesty cough for 8 out of 10 days of the stay. On another occasion, we had specifically asked for the sheets to be changed and this was ignored twice. Upon departure, I’ve noticed I was charged $50 which was the holding fee and was advised this wouldn’t be taken from my card. The hotel room was left immaculately and we made no other purchases etc so I’m unsure why I was charged the extra $50. I’ve contacted the hotel for clarification and a refund on this fee, but they’ve yet to respond. Some positives though: pool towels included and the pool areas are spotless. Beds are comfy. On site food is great. Staff are kind and helpful.

Great place to stay

This hotel is great for the price and location! Stayed here as a couple, the room is basic but very clean with comfy beds and there’s a fridge and microwave to use. Free safe, lots of storage. Maid each day who replaced towels and bedding. Right next to lots of places to eat and a CVS and Walgreens. We got a coffee every morning from the starbucks. Taxi to universal on average is $10 with uber/lyft and Disney is $17. Block A and B closest to reception and quiet rooms. Only gripe is air con in the room was very loud and the Shop is overpriced! We thought overall Orlando is so much more expensive for food and drink (we last visited in 2015 - we stayed in rosen inn international and prefer this one). Overall a great stay and would recommend!

Rude staff for an outdated hotel

Reviewed 13 september, 2022

We have stayed here before and it has really gone downhill since. Staff look miserable and if you ask them a question they simple forward you on to ask someone else. Lady on reception with curly hair on our last day told us we could not have our room any longer (check out at 11) but our flight wasn’t until the evening. Apparently the hotel was “full” but she had told another guest there was a whole block empty on the other side of the pool. The showers weren’t working at the pool so I asked how we could have a shower after being around the pool all day? Just to be stared at and a shrug of the shoulders. We were told by the “manager” then that if we went to another room it would mean we would have to pay for the other room to be cleaned too which would take too long? Not sure how considering the beds in our room weren’t changed the full 2 weeks we were there. The maids simply make the bed (they don’t put clean sheets on). Ours were marked and We had water bottles and other things on the floor down the side of the bed which she didn’t even notice. The staff in the bar were lovely and clearly ran off their feet, they need to employ some more staff to cope! Barely any entertainment on though anymore. Food was gorgeous from the bar, would definitely recommend. The pool is great as it is open until 10 at night so good for the kids wanting a late night swim. However they will shut it if there’s ANY change of bad weather (understandable if it’s bad, but even the slight bit of rain they would close it). They often wouldn’t re-open it even if the weather improved which was annoying as we wanted to make the most of it and couldn’t due to them taking hours to re-open it or not even at all. Hotel breakfast buffet is amazing, we really enjoyed the choice and staff seemed happy to help. Overall, a hotel that seriously needs an update. Staff on reception were rude and un-willing to help. Such a shame for a hotel we used to enjoy.
