Very comfortable country inn with a delightful personal touch
My wife, son and I were attending my daughter's wedding in the area so the three of us stayed the night at Dora's beautiful and very comfortable New Inn. From booking to check-out the entire experience was excellent; Dora was very helpful with the booking, online check-in was very easy, Dora was very welcoming on arrival, our rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious Full English Breakfast in our rooms. All in all we had a highly enjoyable stay, and we look forward to staying with Dora again sometime in the future.
Great stay, amazing food
Highly recommended. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by the owner, the one and only Dora herself. I swear this woman has superpowers, she seemed to be everywhere at the same time. Perfect setting and food was amazing. Breakfast 10/10 If I had to pick one point to as a negative it was just that the tv/Netflix wasn’t working. Dora did however do everything in her power to resolve ❤️❤️❤️ We will be back for sure 🙌🏻
Lovely Sunday Lunch
On a sunny Sunday the large garden was great for social distancing. The pub was busy but the waitresses did a great job running around serving everyone. The roast beef was absolutely fabulous with a great selection of veg. Luckily we had space for pudding and they didn’t disappoint! We will be going back.
Fantastic place
Whilst in London visiting friends we came here, the pub is beautiful, clean and has fantastic gardens, also dog friendly. The menu offers great choices to suit all tastes. Food was fabulous, good quality produce, service excellent and Dora was amazing with us! It’s 40 minutes from London and there is also accommodation which looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend here for a night away in a beautiful country pub, with friendly people and great atmosphere!
Wow! What a find.
Had an amazing time here this weekend, we did a lot of research before we booked and actually cancelled a booking elsewhere due to poor reviews. The New Inn was great. Our room was an upgrade and didn't disappoint. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
