A little oasis in Patong
Reviewed 6 February, 2020
My first tip is to avoid patong and Phuket completely and get to the islands. If you are in Patong this is a good choice. A 10 min walk to the beach the hotel is a little oasis away from seedy and busy Patong Beach. The Thai architecture is nice with a big pool and koi ponds. Staff were helpful. Our room was small and very basic but clean.
Beautiful, traditional thai style building hotel.

A very beautiful, traditional thai style building hotel.
Good Environment , the room is spacious and clean. Bed is very comfortable but can see some mold at the bed wall advisable to remove or change the wallpaper.
Swimming pool is a bit small.
Breakfast buffet is rather simple, but the taste is good. We book a deluxe suite is on the third floor but there is no lift in the hotel. The bathtub and wash basin are too high, hopefully hotel can provide small stool will be helpful for short person.
Nice view of the small garden in the hotel. Hotel is very close to the beach and is very convenient.
Overall we still like to stay in this hotel wish to see improvement.
Rustic Hotel in A Great Garden in the Heart of Patong

We stayed in a ground level villa, Room 901, on the left side of the property for four nights. We had heard that the right side, facing in towards the property, is extremely noisy and was to be avoided due to the outdoor recreational area of the next door hotel and that proved to be quite true.
Our room was quiet and comfortable, but the dated decor of brown wood walls, brown blinds, and brown tile flooring made it quite dark. You couldn't open the window blinds for light without sacrificing your privacy and the energy-saving fluorescent bulbs did little to alleviate the darkness, so the room, while spacious, had an uninviting, cave-like quality. The best feature of our room was the terrace with seating outside the room where we could enjoy the daylight or wait out the inevitable rainstorms.
The furnishings were bulky and I sustained bruises from repeatedly bumping into the bed posts which were hard to see since they blended into the general brown-ness. On the plus side, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The toilet was fine; fully functional with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower, but all again with dated decor.
The place had a bit of a down market feel as the lobby area didn't seem particularly welcoming by staff, who were just matter of fact, responsive, but not particularly cheery or welcoming. Additionally, the management had posted signs all over the place noting that you would be charged if they were missing a washcloth, a towel, or any other items from the room. The number of these signs stood out and left you feeling that the hotel had experienced bad times. There was a sign in the breakfast area threatening to charge you a fine if you took food outside that terraced area.
The breakfast was adequate but lackluster. Even the fruit seemed carelessly selected, not particularly chosen for ripeness. The coffee was terrible, served from a pot that didn't appear to have been cleaned for some time, and there was no cream or creamer, only milk generally for cereal to dilute it. There was very little variety in the breakfast selection.
On the plus side again, however, the garden setting, the Thai traditional architectural facades of the buildings, and the swimming pool made for a lovely welcoming place, as if you were coming to your own royal Thai village. The location is great. It is right in the heart of Patong, an easy walk to Patong Beach, to Bangla Road, to the JungCeylon shopping area and to lots of bars and restaurants.

My wife and I rented two rooms and a poolside villa. The rooms were small but nice. The villa was large, had a whirlpool tub just big enough for two and was clean (too many mosquitos). Some idiots jumped I. The pool at 0100 (pool closes at 8PM), and the front desk people did nothing until I had to complain about the noise! The included breakfast was good and the wait staff were very nice. Daytime front desk staff were also very good. Price was ok and Resort is close to the beach.
Beautiful Gardens - quiet oasis!

Pros: The most beautiful gardens yet in the middle of Patong - how surprising is that? The family rooms are in traditional rustic Thai and outstanding in that they are on 2 floors with a large balcony and you feel like you are in house not a hotel. Cons: Limited parking but the porter does his best to take care of that. There are noises and smells sometimes in the outside air, but this is Patong with a lot going on. The breakfast food is foreign tasting to we Brits, to some people would be an issue.
