Would definitely stay here again! Everything about the hotel from restaurant Las, pool, beach was amazing!! The service was the absolute best. Aruba and all of its people definitely make it “One Happy Island”

Spent some time here and must say the entire resort needs an upgrade to 2020’s. Seems stuck in the 80’s. Sad because the location and layout architecture was well thought through. Painting, patch work and entrance baggage storage is pretty ugly. Trees, bushes and grass quite patchy. Needs a bit more water, thorough clipping and dead leaf pickups.
Great location, nice beach, but...

We stayed at Hilton Aruba first week of December. Location is great, a lot of places to eat or drink across a street, no need for a car or even a cab, everything is in a walking distance. We only ate lunch on the property couple of times, all other times we went outside of the resort to eat. But I really liked Oscar's Market on the property: great coffee (espresso, etc.), pastries and nice snacks/salads. Very nice beach, calm waters, clean property, decent room (we had the basic one). Room had a mini fridge which is good if you want to keep some drinks or snacks in the room. Housekeeping was good, no problem with towels or toiletries. Staff - for the most part pretty helpful. The willingness is there, but experience, training or qualifications are sometimes missing. Everything beyond the very-very basic stuff is "I need to ask my manager" or "You need to talk to my manager", and you need to physically come to the front desk or pool desk to resolve it. The whole palapa/beach cabana reservation is ridiculous. I read enough before our trip to know that I wasn't going to stand in line during a specific time every day of my vacation to try and reserve the free one. I was perfectly fine with paying for one as long as could avoid the hassle. Yes, you can reserve a palapa (we chose to reserve beach cabana) online - you can choose the location, etc. Sounds simple, right? Not so much. After you reserve it online, you have to go to the pool desk (where you go to get towels) and pay for the palapa you reserved online. Only then it is really "reserved" for you. Or you can skip online process altogether and just go to the desk and ask what's available and where and pay to reserve. Also, watch your charges and keep all the receipts. I've been double charged for a palapa that I never reserved. I went to the front desk to straighten this out only to be told there is nothing they can do, I need to go to the pool desk to take care of it. Okay... The pool desk employee also couldn't do anything, had to call her manager and the manager had to physically come to the pool desk to tell me she'll take care of it and told me to ask for a new room charge summary tomorrow at the front desk to see that the charge was removed. I don't want to end my review on a bad note, because our overall experience was good... but improvements can be made.
Fantastic Winter Break Vacation

We had a fantastic experience - from check in (Grace) through the end of our stay. This was our second visit. We booked 10 nights on points at the end of the summer for a family of four. We immediately called the hotel directly to see if there were upgrade options available for purchase. There were. We bought an upgrade into the Aruba Tower Palm Beach Club with an ocean view room. The 8th floor view was fantastic. The club rate includes palapa rentals for each day of the stay ($50+ day), cooked to order breakfasts (4 breakfasts would be at least another $60 day), soft drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a concierge. The concierges (Matilde and Afroze) were outstanding and booked (in advance) all of the palapa and dinner reservations for each night. The activity center was fantastic in getting us towels and some extra sun chairs. The service at Gilligan's was slow (both from taking the order, bringing our food and final bill)... so we said we'd rather wait at our chairs for food. That said, the beach servers (Will and Jay) were always very helpful and seemed much quicker than the service in the restaurant. As far as safety - all the staff were always wearing masks and a very high % of the guests were wearing them indoors as well. Housekeeping worked exactly as advertised - the sheets and towels were changed when we wanted them. The beach access is easy and because of the location, you do not have hotels across the street (with guests) barging in on the beach filling up all of the sand spots in front of the chairs. Access to watersports is super easy. Due to it's great location, you don't need a rental car unless you want to eat downtown regularly - the cab access is outstanding. Yes, the building is 60+ years old - so this is not a luxe as some of the others in Palm Beach. What it lacks in that area it makes up for in service and a fantastic beach. Also providing great service includes Norma, Irma, Mercedes, and others. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Aruba Hilton and absolutely loved it. The resort is gorgeous and staff was friendly. Would definitely choose this hotel again. We felt very safe during Covid and didn’t have any concerns during our stay. The resort is walking distance to great shopping and restaurants.
