This is a very tired hotel that looks great when you walk into the front lobby. Sadly, it goes downhill once you round the corner and head to your room. The furnishings are just really tired, our shower leaked terribly and the floor wasn’t vacuumed very well. Since the city was on lockdown, we ate at their restaurant. Surprisingly, it was not bad and it appeared they only had one waitress. Since there were only two tables, I’m guessing they didn’t need anymore. Of course, the location to the airport and the free shuttle topped it from two stars to three. It’s not bad, it OK
Clean & convenient

We stayed here one night to be close to the airport for a departure the following day. The airport shuttle service was very convenient. Never expecting much from a hotel restaurant, we were delighted with our dinner- well presented, tasty & portioned. Our room was fine- clean & comfortable. I think because of covid, the hotel was quite empty as people there were just getting back in to travel.
Delightful and friendly!

I stayed at the Riande Aeropuerto initially for 1 day as i waited for my parents to arrive so we could then go to the WestinPlayaBonita fir our week long vacation. After 2 days at the Westin, we decided it was bad enough to leave without hesitation; and i knew that i would go back to Riande! The staff at the Riande Aeropuerto was exceptional in all aspects of our family vacation! Chris Mesua at the Front Desk was a jack of all trades! After taking care of all of our requests, he also had many options on what to do, where to go and how to get there! He was so friendly and so attentive that made our stay much more personal and enjoyable. The staff at the restaurant was also so kind and efficient that we knew their names as they knew ours during our stay, we cant praise enough everyone, specially Fanny, the bartender! She is such a great addition to the hotel! So knowledgeable of all drinks and at the same time, personal with what you like and dislike! It was a great experience!! We loved the huge tropical pool with the waterfall and the in-ground bar area! The cleaning service was also phenomenal! Everything that we thought we would get at the brand name hotel that we didn't get, we got it at the Riande Aeropuerto!! It goes to remind us that big brand names are not always what we expect because they are very impersonal, but our Riande Aeropuerto experience made us wonderfully happy and with plans to come back to visit more and get to know more of its culture!! A lovely place!!
Definitely not worth the price!

Upgraded to a terrace room the night before a flight. You’d think for US$130 they’d at least have hot running water, but no! 😡 The swimming pool is a tad chilly, too! Oh well, at least there’s a shuttle to the airport every half hour.
Poor handling of a booking mistake ⁰

I stayed here six months ago when passing through Panama City making a connection to Hawaii .it was expensive for Panama City rates $99 but I had an early flight and it's right next to the airport. I got a view of the pool and two chairs at the small table I got to relax in . the beds were comfortable the decor was fair. So I booked it again for 3 March to receive a room 137 the furthest away from the front desk and I had very heavy bags no one offered me help once we got to the room the orange decor and the uncomfortable beds were ridiculous it was just a step above Motel 6 I called the front desk manager who appeared to be the only person working and he told me he could upgrade me for $26 I told him this is not what I booked I came here last time and you can see in the picture that there's an actual sliding door and some nice decor so I went up to the front and after the check my reservation that this is incorrect and once he got tired of listening to me he gave me another room we move all of our stuff to that room to find it was the same but it was blue. No coffee maker no ice bucket no glasses nothing. This hotel was at best 20% occupancy. The driver to the airport was very nice Maybe he should be your manager Check your booking before you buy it. There's many good options available elsewhere. Sorry for the bad review .
