High End Resort Hotel

Reviewed 1 august, 2022

We had stayed for a week at a Encore Tower Suite room on a high floor in late March. Tower Suites section of Encore Resort had its own entrance and check-in area which was insulated from the crowds of guests using Encore’s main front desk area. Our suite room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King size bed and a couch. The floor to ceiling picture windows covering the entire wall of the living room offered a panoramic view of a section of the Strip and the surrounding mountains in the distance. The room had all the amenities expected of a luxury hotel, including mini refrigerator, hair dryer, safe, and iron & ironing board. The bathroom with shower and tub was spacious. The desk in the living room was spacious. The Tower Suite section had its own security desk, and everyone had to tap their room key to the sensor before being allowed to the elevator area leading to the Tower Suites. Once inside an elevator, it was not necessary to tap our room key to the marked sensor even though there was a sensor with room key symbol on the panel with floor buttons. Once coming out of the door to the lobby of the Encore Tower Suite section, we could go to many Encore and Wynn facilities including casino, dining venues, and shops. Encore/Wynn complex also had convention meeting rooms with names of famous classical music composers such as Bach, Handel, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Puccini, Debussy, and Ravel. The complex also had many top-notch restaurants. But for simple breakfasts or meals, alternative dining options outside the hotel were available. For example, Bagelmania near the Las Vegas Convention Center or the Food Court at Fashion Show Mall were used by some Encore guests. Lyft and Uber could be called to the Encore Tower Suite entrance. A word of caution for returning to Encore Tower Suites entrance: Give “Encore Main Entrance” as the destination instead of “Tower Suites”. Once the car enters Encore compound from the Strip, then ask the driver to stop at the Tower Suites entrance which is right before reaching the Encore Main Entrance. If you key in “Tower Suites” as the destination on Lyft/Uber apps instead, your driver might take you to “Wynn Tower Suites” entrance which is some distance away.

Our first Vegas experience, and thanks to Encore, not the last!

Wow, what an experience! My better half and I just got back from our first trip to Las Vegas, and I have absolutely no regrets about our three-night stay at Encore. Every staff member, no matter the department, restaurant, etc was amazing! Very outgoing and I really felt they wanted to help us. Beautiful and energizing atmosphere in both Encore and Wynn, and pretty much everything you could desire can be found on campus. Adult pool was great, drinks were awesome and staff were attentive and enthusiastic. There were some guests taking advantage of its "European" aspect, adding to the overall party vibe. Room and view were amazing, clean and serviced daily. Only complaints are the constant thumping of the bass from the nightclub (we were on the 26th floor facing south in a resort king suite) and the smell of cigarettes (which never dawned on us until we first walked in, but is understandable as it is in fact, a casino).

Everything is getting really bad :( Check in and check out lines are the same. Kiosks don't work. Concierge is a JOKE (all of them), and we have tried them the last 3 times we stayed. Continually wrong information, and even when I ask probing questions. Shoe shine & pool times, always wrong! Adult pool opening at 9:30 vs. promised 9:00. Server at pool was SUPER nasty, and deserved zero tip, yet we are forced to pay 18% on top of delivery fee. (Last visit the server was good, but this visit, she was horrible). Red Desk (rebranded now I think... to another name... but the Player's desk) -- guy working there has horrible attitude; he acts as if he is doing US a favor by just talking with us. Another bad experience. Gaming floor -- drinks and service nowhere as good as it used to be in years passed. Lower quality everything. Housekeeping -- walking in on us when we have the "privacy" light on. Seriously? Bottom line -- Encore is a train wreck now; it is NOTHING like it used to be. Standards are very low or gone. The end of an era. I'm glad we stayed so many times when it was really good!... Lots of great experiences here... BUT have decided to move on to other places now. Very sad.... again, the end of a great era. Farewell, Encore (and Wynn).

Stayed at the Encore Wynn Tower Suite

Reviewed 21 july, 2022

Stayed at the Encore Wynn Tower Suite for one night while passing through on a road trip. The Tower Suites has separate entrance on the side so you did not have to enter the casino also has its own elevator. This was a huge plus for us! The rooms were of course beautiful. It was loud at night as there was a pool party below. Were on the 20th floor and you could hear music until about 3am. Did not bother me but could be an annoyance for some. Only problem was finding food in the hotel. You could not get in any restaurants in the hotel! We ended up eating a sandwich. This was a a huge annoyance as we got in a bit late and were tired and did not want to venture out . I would recommend the hotel offer hotel guests priority access to the restaurants over people just coming in to eat or offer a restaurant only for hotel guests. Parking is amazing here as well. We had a large sprinter van and there is a special parking where you can self park a oversized vehicle.
