Penthouse Views were amazing
Reviewed 20 march, 2023
We booked a 2 bedroom penthouse that was located in the 56th floor. The views from the room were amazing and could see half of Las Vegas from the windows. The night views were amazing. From these views we could see the fountains at Bellagio and turn the tv on to hear the music playing. The penthouse had a full size fridge, a fully stocked mini fridge, washer & dryer and each room had its own bathroom with a shower and tub. It was a really great deal using my MGM rewards to get the great price. I would highly recommend it if you want 2 rooms or going with another couple. Vdara brought us a fruit basket and some bottled waters. The fitness gym was also worth going to. Starbucks is located on the lobby level and Aria is about really short walk to go gamble. If I’m able to book that room for the same rate I did, I would definitely book again

As the Stones sang, “this could be ‘The Last Time’”

Having stayed at Vdara several times we were given a 2 bed hospitality suite based on my past MGM play (Plat) This is an amazing space with 2 1/2 baths and a great lounge/kitchenette set up - just remember to ring down and request any crockery, cutlery and pots and pans you may require We were on the 48th floor and it was extremely quiet - requested housekeeping on one day and they were prompt and thorough, leaving extra shampoo and body wash as requested The public spaces are classy and comfortable and the on-site Starbucks and Market Cafe (24 hrs) are a welcome edition although the cafe can prove expensive Didn’t use room service but on previous occasions this was also a good service Negative is the toilet paper - I’ve had better in a truck-stop - cheap and could be very nasty I am afraid that may be last last time we’re given this type of accommodation as they’ve tweaked the MGM Rewards tier system so much we will fail to maintain Platinum for the first time in 15 years - the adage ‘never chase comps’ has never been so relevant So a 4/5 based on the hotel

A Good Central Location On The Strip If You Prefer A Non Casino Hotel
Reviewed 20 march, 2023
We recently spent 5 nights at the Vydara whilst visiting from the UK. Room was great, was kept clean and had a large comfy bed. Nice large bathroom with bath and a nice big walk in shower. We were on floor 47 and had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and the mountains surrounding the city. This is a non casino hotel which is twinned with the Aria Hotel next door which has a huge casino and plenty of shops and restaurants. Their is also a walkway from the Vydara which takes you into the Bellagio. Hotel has a pool and spa with a bar on the ground floor which has a small food menu. Their is also a 24 hour Cafe and a limited hours Starbucks on the Ground Floor. Beware however the food and drink in the Cafe is very expensive. Hotel is nice and central on the Las Vegas Strip and the ideal location for a short stay. It is however looking a little tired and could do with a spruce up. Complaint wise we were not at all impressed with the staff on the check in desk who came across as pretty disinterested and not very helpful. I have previously stayed in both the Luxor and the New York New York hotels where the check in staff were excellent. We also reported that the fridge in our room was not working on Day 2 but this complaint was never actioned. The bar staff and the bell boys were however attentive and friendly. Travellers from the UK should be aware that Las Vegas has become VERY expensive.

Lovely hotel

Just spent 5 nights at Vdara non smoking non casino Hotel. Room was great, clean, comfy large bed had a large shower and lovely big bath. Room had a lovely fountain view room 2910. A few minutes walk to the Aria where casino is. My only complaint, the walkway to Bellagio from Vdara is closed. When we checked in they explained they are building a new one that connects Vdara to both Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan. Will be great when it’s finished but to get from Vdara to Bellagio is currently a bit of a pain. Staff very helpful great stay and recommend if you are looking for a quiet option especially if you have children. Pool looked lovely and it had a spa too. Only complaint is the 24hr cafe its extremely expensive and food we got was awful obviously been heated a while back and just sat there was really disappointing 😑 Overall a lovely hotel for the quieter stay.

Extremely dusty and front desk check in staff bothered by us checking in.

The front desk staff left me not wanting to even check in. Just abrupt and looked bothered by us checking in later. The room was extremely dusty. The living room sofa was stained and the tv had a huge splotchy spot on the bedroom tv. The nightstands were very dusty, there was candy stuck to the rug. I was not happy. I spent an hour cleaning to even make it livable. The bathroom was clean. The bedding was clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. The dust all around the room made this an unhappy experience. I would like to say that the staff in the 24/7 bakery shop in the lobby were incredibly nice. I visited that shop numerous times to purchase many items. Don’t miss the tarts. So delicious. If I were to stay again, I would have to call ahead to make sure the room was actually cleaned properly. The location was very good. The room was surprisingly quiet. That was my experience. Because of the housekeeping I cannot recommend this hotel.
