5 stars hotel without minibar

Reviewed 20 november, 2021

Very bad experience. I was surprised to see for the first time in my life a 5 Stars Hotel without minibar in the room. The worst thing is you don’t have any list in the room to order something. When i called the room service asking the list, she told me that she can tell me the list by phone. Amazing. In the bar and also at the room service they have limited options to eat. I will avoid this hotel for my next trips to Paris.

Nice hotel located in a fabulous location

Reviewed 14 november, 2021

The facade of the hotel is gorgeous with its Art Deco theme. Lobby was equally nice and the concierge very efficient. We had a double / double executive room on the 6th floor which amazingly enough had a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was fine albeit starting to show some signs of age, the bathroom was adequate. During our stay the restaurant, executive lounge and other guests areas were closed!! The bar area was nice and the staff attentive (cocktails were limited) Breakfast was a buffet affair with hot & cold food available, I have to say the coffee was horrible ! Location was the main selling point, it’s very close to the Champs Elysee and the metro. From the hotel it’s 10 min walk to the Champs Elysee, 30 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and 20 mins on the Metro to the Louvre. Would have given 5 / 5 if the facilities were all available.

Luxury hotel does not quite live up to expectations

Reviewed 31 october, 2021

I went on a 3 day Paris trip with my 14 year old son. We paid around €300 over Destinia.com per night, which is a good rate for a King size bed room in a 5 star… Hotel reopened from COVID shut down mid October 2021. Location is excellent near Parc Monceau; 20’ walk from Place de L’Etoile. Staff at reception was extremely friendly, we got twin beds in lieu of our King size. We booked breakfast for €15 p P p night additional. Room was large, nice & large bathroom, room would deserve some fresh paint and new furniture. Room quite & working air conditioning. Unfortunately Spa was closed (not written anywhere in the booking) and would have been closed for under 16 year old anyway (not written anywhere on the booking either). Breakfast buffet was nice, though you would expect cooked dishes a la minute in a 5 star. Not the case. The hotel has a nice Art Deco bar; €10 soft drinks; €15 a glass of wine. Decent hotel, maximum 4 star, you probably get better value for the money in Paris.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL MANAGER MR VINCENT LAUGERY

Reviewed 23 october, 2021

We have stayed at the collectionneur hotel for overnight last weekend ( 16/10 to 17/10). The hotel just opened after covid. Mr Vincent LAUGERY took very good care of our family, was very reactive to all of our demands, truly excellent as he took excellent care of everything. Many thanks to him and we will certainly come back.

Lovely hotel but terrible breakfast

Reviewed 10 july, 2020

I stayed here for one night for business - the hotel is lovely, a very grand feel. Room is spacious (considering average size of rooms in Paris) with all amenities required. The only shame was breakfast - nothing felt fresh and not the best service from staff! The hotel is also located very close to Champs Elysees (10 mins walk) and 10 min drive from Eiffel tower.
