Wonderful Hotel!
Loved this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was good size and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean. The garden area was a peaceful gem. Location is great if you enjoy walking. Lots of little places to eat and easy walk to public transit. You could hear people on the stairway but that is common in most hotels I would absolutely stay here on my next visit.
Home from home
I have just returned from my latest week long visit to Paris. Having stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years I would throughly recommend it especially if you want a place to stay which has an individual, friendly atmosphere and which does not fall into the boring, soulless “contemporary” box category provided by so many other hotels.
Citytrip
Cosy hotel! The rooms are basic but the charm and neighbourhood (a lot of cafés and Italian, Asian, Parisian restaurants) make up for it. Sometimes we could hear the neighbours, it’s an old building so it makes sense. The bed wasn’t really big but comfy!
EXCELLENT !
A delightful hotel on the Rue des Dames, just off Place de Clichy. The rooms are individually designed, and proprietors/staff are extremely nice helpful people. My twin room had its own on suite shower room, plenty of hot water, and space to move. Beds very comfortable. The Hotel has its own bistro - Bistrot des Dames - which you can enter via the hotel, The food was absolutely the best. In fact we didn't look for another restaurant after we discovered this one on the first night! The roast chicken - oh my! The hotel asks people to vacate their room by 11 on departure day, but are happy to look after bags if your flight/train is later. There is Wi-Fi available. A totally lovely experience staying at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions in September. I enjoyed staying in this traditional style hotel and the room was the nicest I have had in Paris from several visits to Paris over the years and was in a good location and quiet. The reception staff were mainly very friendly and helpful except one female receptionist who tried to short change us when we checked in to the hotel and payed for our hotel room with cash in Euros. I should have received 18 Euros in change back but she only gave me 8 Euros. I pointed this out to her and she handed me 10 Euros without questioning it. I got the impression that because we were foreigners and weren't familiar with the currency I can only assume she thought we wouldn't notice the discrepancy. I would still recommend this hotel but if paying by cash, check your change.
