Wonderful experience at Resort in Dec. 2022

It was our first time coming to Pensacola Beach. From the outdoor hot tubs, ramp access to the beach, heated lazy river, big games, fireplace to sit near, and indoor heated pool. There is so much to do at the resort. My wife constantly went to the front desk and ended up conversing with the staff every evening! Gabriella and Alex would talk to my wife every evening. She enjoyed that. She remembers Jared also during the night shift. She said he was hardworking. Kat is the night shift leader. My wife met her. There were a few times my wife ordered some drinks during happy hour and Kaidan was the bartender. She enjoyed talking to him. Malachi would give my wife some water bottles knowing we are an IHG member. He was great! My wife definitely bumped into Dave, Jacob, and Chase who would handle the night maintenance. She met Adam twice, and said he knew what he was doing! Everyone did amazing to make our visit wonderful!

Great customer service, lady in the lobby named Gabby was very nice amazing customer service, answered all our questions & made us feel welcomed after very long road trip ride. The hotel has a very nice view, and the pool is amazing!

Nice Beach Hotel

Nice full service hotel on Pensacola Beach. We traveled in December and it was a little cold but we got good rates and a room with a balcony facing the gulf side. The restaurant is very good for both dinner and breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. It is convenient to restaurants and shops.

I stayed in this hotel many times while I was working. That was about 8 - 9 years ago. I enjoyed it very much back then, always had a good rest and felt very comfortable. That's why I chose this hotel for our four nights. Granted the hotel is going through a total renovation, which it sorely needs so things will be much better come summer season. The good stuff first: The desk staff, in particular, Gabby, were excellent and accommodating. Bar staff was excellent as was the restaurant. Hotel location is ideal. Pool facilities are excellent. Our first afternoon and evening was in a room directly under the construction on the 10th floor. No afternoon naps there. We called to complain and they put us in a new room the next morning. It took a while as the keys didn't want to work for awhile, but we got it sorted out. After we switched rooms, we didn't get housekeeping the next day. Oh well, no biggie. The next day housekeeping consisted of making the bed and changing the towels. I know they didn't clean the shower, because of a washrag I left in there, they didn't clean the sinks because the soap stains were still there, and they didn't replace the coffee pods and other amenities. Also I don't think they cleaned the floors in several days, and I believe that because of a black footprint I left on the bath mat after walking around barefoot on the floors, and stained socks for the same reason. I don't think they clean the balconies very often, because of cigarette butts out there and I don't smoke. Thank goodness for renovation as the hallway carpet is gross. I am sure management has his hands full due to the renovation and is relying heavily on his staff to run the hotel. However a few checks on housekeeping management is in order

Our vacation in Pensacola, Florida at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort Wednesday September 14 - Sunday, September 17 was phenomenal. We like to give a special recognition to our housekeeper Shavell providing above and beyond services to accommodate us! Room 807 was kept cleaned and we always had clean linen, towels and surface of tables and floor. Shavell always greeted us with a warm and inviting smile, a happy tone in her voice and a world of helpful information guiding us to highlighted spots and thru our stay! Without Shavell, our visit would not have been great. Please commend Shavell on a job well done and let her know that Peter Selvey and Tracy Page were pleased with the awesome service she provided.
