These people understand what hospitality is! Very helpfull, very friendly, amazing food! We did not sleep at the b&b, because iT was completely booked,the señora helped us finding another place to sleep. In the meantime we could swim in the pool, and enjoyed a fantastic home Made diner.
A simple working farm without frills or pretensions and amazing food and hospitality.
This is a great base for visiting Umbria, close to the cantine of Montefalco and such lovely places as Bevagna, Spello, Todi etc. You could not wish for better hosts. The whole family chip in to help and you are there in the middle of it all. The majority of the food they serve actually comes from the farm. It is traditional home-cooking but of the highest quality and really delicious. Their olive-oil is very good too. They also cook a mean pizza.
A super friendly family in a lovely setting, definitely worth a visit.
This is a working farm, complete with dogs, cats, pigs and cows. There are olive groves all around. It is conveniently placed for all the famous sites in Umbria, Todi, Spoleto, Assisi, Spoleto etc. The family who run the B&B could not be more helpful or pleasant. The lady of the house makes her own pasta, preserves, cakes, pastries and they are all delicious. They cure their own pork and the milk at breakfast is fresh from their cows.The room was lovely with a great view of a little village perched on a hilltop. Not only, the bed was super comfortable too.
Wonderful family environment
My sister and her family came with us and the kids loved the kittens and cats. This is a complete working farm with olives grapevines, cows pigs sheep chickens. Francesca makes wonderful cakes and crostatas. The best I have had in italy. Donatella her mother makes fresh pasta and her polenta was fantastic. They accommodated both meat eaters and vegetarians easily. The food portions were large.
Perfect place to relax and explore
My husband, 6 month old baby and I have just returned from a week at this amazing agriturismo. The location is wonderful for exploring Umbria (central to all of the highlights - Assisi, Montefalco, Spoleto, Spello, Todi etc), and is likewise fabulous for just hanging around the pool and relaxing on site. We took advantage of their home cooked meals every morning and night and they were fabulous. Mother Donatella thinks nothing of making her own pasta with truffles (!) and daughter Francesca is a wonderful pastry chef - we benefited from that every morning for breakfast. If you are looking for a real "farm" experience, with a very sweet and thoughtful Italian family, this is the place for you. It was absolutely the perfect place for us.
