AMAZING HOTEL

Reviewed 29 july, 2022

Hotel was stay was incredible. We were in town for a baseball game and decided to stay outside of inner harbor. This hotel was THE BEST. The hotel staff was incredible warm and welcoming the second we came in. The room was incredibly clean and sanitized. We slept wonderfully in the bed, not disturbed by any other guests. The cookie was an AMAZING add on bonus ;) I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to visit inner harbor but not interested in staying at inner harbor. Book now!

Photos do not reflect current condition of hotel

Deceiving photos on the hotel page--taken way before things became run-down. Outdoor pool closed for "construction" Tall weeds growing in the lawn behind the hotel, If you are lucky you'll get a view of a brick wall of a bulding nearby. The cost to use indoor tennis courts is $30 per hour. This hotel should be giving discounts while things are being renovated. Ordered french fries in the restaurant/bar and I'm quite sure they cooked them with a microwave. Breakfast is overpriced. Overall not a good experience.

Don’t stay here

Reviewed 14 july, 2022

I booked a room for two night on the Hilton app. When I we arrived the person at front desk said there were no more rooms left except for one in a construction area on the first floor. We took it but once entering the room it was 85 degrees with no working AC. It was also obviously a room soon to be renovated with no carpet on the floor, dingy walls and a back door to the room that had tape holding it closed. We decided against staying in that dungeon of a room so went back to front desk to see what our options were. The same person at the front desk then told us that she couldn’t help us and that we were out of luck even though we had booked and paid for a room. Worst experience ever after a long day and wanting nothing more than to rest. We had to pack up and find a new hotel. Romaine “like the lettuce” was the customer service person at the desk. I would give her zero stars if allowed.

Outstanding staff; older hotel rooms; great location

Reviewed 3 july, 2022

The rooms themselves are dated and a bit worn down. But it looks like management are repainting and freshening up in spots, at least on the 5th floor. I liked having vinyl "wood" floors in our room-- that made the room feel a bit newer. The location is great for sports events at Towson or Goucher. Most important of all, however, the people working here are top-notch. They went the extra mile for us in lots of small but important ways during our recent sports trip. And the restaurant was above expectations-- we ordered our breakfasts to go, and they were delicious.

My home away from home

Reviewed 12 june, 2022

I always stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pikesville. It is my home away from home since I moved to Florida. I feel like part of the family there! I cannot say enough about Heaven, Shawn and Romaine! They are so awesome and go out of their way to accommodate their guests! They are professional and caring! Also, the restaurant staff are amazing! I love the complimentary tea and coffee in the morning and the delicious spa like water the rest of the day! Can't way to go back!
