Myself & my partner stayed at the Petinos Hotel in September for 10 nights & we can’t praise it enough. Upon arrival staff were friendly & very welcoming. We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool terrace. The pool area is very relaxing & peaceful. A lovely pool & terrace. The hotel was spotless & decor was very modern. The hotel had a lovely feel about it & at night when lit up it was so pretty. Breakfast was at bit limited with choice but not anything to complain about. The restaurant is overlooking the beach & the views are stunning. The location of the hotel is perfect. On the beach if you want the beach. The sea is beautiful for swimming. Good choice of restaurants in the resort. Local bus outside the hotel that runs every half hour to the beautiful & very pretty Mykonos town. Staff can’t do enough for you. Overall this is a lovely hotel to stay in & would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 4 star hotel. We will definitely return again. Beautiful hotel & beautiful island.

Location was Perfect!

My husband and I were on a Globus tour of the islands and didn't have any control over our accommodations. One bus stayed near Mykonos Town and we took a short bus ride to the southern part of Mykonos in Chora near the Plates Gialos and Psarrou Beaches. We loved the location. Our complementary breakfast was served on a picturesque terrace that overlooked the beach. There was bus service right outside the hotel, but we walked over to the Psarrou Beach at the top of the hill. The hotel offered a well balanced accommodation that included a terrace overlooking the street, a king bed, and a beautiful pool setting.Although it was the end of the season, there were a variety of restaurants and bars open so that you didn't have to leave the Plates Gialos beach complex. We stayed and enjoyed the low key vibe of this area.

Have been late season regulars at this hotel since 2007. The hotel has been totally renovated to a very high standard over the last two years. The former courtyard garden now houses a stunning pool! We stay in the same room year on year which has now been upgraded to an exceptional standard as a "Superior Suite" - facilities include a "walk in" shower, "his and her" washbasins, modern flat screen tv and a "bluetooth" speaker built into the wall. Booking direct as always, arrangements made with Eleni were seamless. Complimentary airport / port transfer is included. Receptionists Christina and Maria provide excellent customer service. The hotel is spotless with public areas being constantly cleaned. Our room cleaner Evangelia was exceptional! Breakfast taken in the hotel's Blue Myth taverna / restaurant offers an extensive high quality hot and cold buffet complimented by stunning sea views. Elena behind the bar always makes the best frappe! Breakfast team comprising Kristina, Nikolas and a young lady wearing glasses ( sorry not sure of name ) were always very attentive and engaging. Facilties are shared with neighbouring Petinos Beach Hotel which houses a small swimming pool and sun deck overlooking Platys Gialos. Receptionists Voula and Anastasia are always very welcoming and will provide pool towels if required. The deep blue afternoon sea and matching sky colour are simply stunning! Thank you Petinos for another great holiday! "HOME FROM HOME" we can't wait to be back!

Trip of a lifetime

Writing this from our private terrace. Hotel Petinos is making our trip special. Classy and ritzy without being pretentious. Helpful staff. Spotless rooms and public areas. Not cheap, but less than some comparable hotels. Breakfast included, and will blow any American hotel’s options away! It is quite a distance from the Island’s main town, but buses are frequent and cheap (1.8 Euros).

Great hotel in a great location

This was a great hotel - compared with others in the area it was well priced and in a great location. It’s position made it easy to go into the main town - by air conditioned bus. It’s close to the water taxi that can take you around the beaches, the breakfast was great and while the room we had was small - it had everything we needed. The pool area was great for a late afternoon swim and relax. The staff were all lovely - this hotel was recommended to me by a friend and I certainly would come back and stay here again. There’s also a great bakery just up the road
