We visited last week with a group about 30 people. We were not there for a wedding or event, just a bunch of neighbors who vacationed together. We did a lot of theme days - one being ducks. It was a blast, and the whole resort embraced it and got into the fun. I can say that this resort is GREAT for groups. There are always a ton of activities happening, and it is easy to set up an excursion if you want to see something off resort. My husband and I typically do several during our stays in Mexico, but this time we had such a great time at the resort that we never left! The restaurants offer a nice variety of cuisines, and the pool food trucks do a very good job with fresh, made-to-order fare - the burger is one of the better ones I've had in a while. And don't miss the churros! They have a stand that makes them fresh in the evening, and they are to die for! The bars are plentiful and do a wonderful job. We spent a lot of time in Don Miguel's, as the drinks are both tasty and just plain impressive. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. I never had a negative interaction with anyone who worked at the resort. Dora especially was fantastic. She was so effusive and fun and felt more like a friend by the end of the week than one of the staff. One of our group celebrated her birthday while we were there, and Dora rounded up everyone in our group and had cake and ice cream (and birthday shots) on hand. Actually, every place we went that day, the staff got everyone in the area singing - pool, lounges, plaza. I think she had at least 3 different pieces of birthday cake. LOL I would go here again in a heartbeat!

This is the BEST resort EVER !!!!!! This was our sixth time here and we wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else !! Everything is AMAZING !!!! They treat you like gold and the grounds are absolutely stunning !!!! The food, pools, drinks, shows, entertainment and Don Miguel Martini bar are all excellent. The ENTIRE staff is so happy, friendly and accommodating….they absolutely can not do enough for you !! A special thank you to Jesus (Don Miguel Martini Bar….Marco our pool concierge, Miguel our waiter at the Golden Pool…Virginia our waitress at the main pool….Gustavo at La Hacienda…Lucia, Alberto, Wilbreth, Veronica, and last but not least, the AMAZING BEAUTIFUL Dora !!!! You will NOT be disappointed here !!!!!! Thank you for ANOTHER wonderful time Valentin, and we will see you next year !!!!! Can’t wait !!!!!! :)

The resort is beautiful, one of the nicest we have been to. Beach was awesome. We did not use the pools but many did and they seemed to enjoy. Employees were all courteous and friendly. The reason I rated it a 3 was the restaurants. When you are in a sit down restaurant, the food should be hot, it wasn’t, ever! We were there 8 nights and ate in every restaurant. The good was always just warm. I don’t know if once it was prepared that it set in the kitchen and was brought out promptly or what happened. Needless to say, lukewarm good does not have the same taste. For that reason, we will not go back.

I loved waking up in the cozy sheets to the exquisite sunrise. Staff from concierge to cooks were so friendly. I especially enjoyed doing aqua fitness and aqua biking with Catherine! She’s terrific!

This was the second time my wife and I visited Valentine. The service at the restaurants and bars is superb. And they do their best to keep the beach free of seaweed. Also, if you need anything while at the pool or beach, find Dora Ibañez. She can make things happen. We will definitely be returning.
