Located in the Northern Pantanal, one of the most abundant regions of wildlife on the planet, Aymara Lodge is a new hostel that offers its guests an authentic experience immersed in nature without giving up comfort. Our apartments are located in the middle of a forest and on the edge of a corixo (small Pantanal watercourse), where animals such as alligators, capybaras, lobetes, pacas, quatis and monkeys are seen daily in their natural habitat, as well as several species of birds, among them the blue macaw, the true parrot, the mutum and the toucans. The property where the inn is located is a t...More details

Wow! We just got back to the USA a few days ago from the Aymara Lodge. We loved seeing the many different types of animals and birds. Watching the wild Macaw that nest in the trees at the lodge was facinating. The variety of birds that live on the lodge grounds was incredible. The food was excellent. The accommodations are nice and have new air conditioners. We heard some of the other lodges do not have this. This is the best lodge to stay at in this area. Pablo did a nice job of taking us via the companies safari vehicle into a different part of the jungle to spot animals at at sundown and night and the price was very affordable. We did a small hike to a lookout point and came across jaguar footprints in the sand. During our few days there we saw hundreds of animal including a Jaguar. Julliano took us on the most amazing safari via boat for the day. It was a real adventure as we searched for Jaguar. Yes, indeed we finally spotted one from our boat. The cat was watching us from the bank. This is a natural habitat that is absolutely beautiful. This is not a fenced reserve like many safaris around the world. This is the real and wild jungle. I strongly recommend staying at the Aymara Lodge because the staff will treat you like a VIP the entire time. Our visit here will be a precious memory that my wife and I will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you Julliano and to your staff for helping us have such a fantastic time. We hope to come back soon!

I wish we stayed for longer at the Aymara lodge! Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are exquisite and the food, incredible! We chilled at the pool, walked on the various trails located on the property. There is canoeing, a pool and plenty to do to relax and enjoy the nature. The owners and staff are welcoming and have implemented all necessary higiene regulations for a safe and enjoyable stay. I definitely recommend staying here at least 3 nights if you have the time as you can use it as a base to carry out other activities in the area.
Excellent, lovely and comfortable

Everything about the lodge was excellent - our room overlooked a macaw nest and we enjoyed the sightings from our front porch! Staff was always attentive, service was excellent! Food was delicious - the chef was creative and the food was outstanding! We loved the birds and animals that were around the lodge and the creek -a fox walked through the grounds during lunch! The canoe ride gave us an additional opportunity to see monkeys, caiman, frogs and beautiful birds! We would highly recommend this lodge on your visit to Brazil. We appreciated the luxury of the Aymara lodge on our Pantanal trip!
