I just needed a place to lay my head for the night. The staff was very friendly and cordial. Hotel is a bit worn but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located behind other buildings so my GPS had a bit of trouble locating the building.
The property is okay.

While the staff was delightful, the hotel is starting to show a little wear. Also, not sure if there was a toilet paper shortage but all we had was a half roll and a extra box of tissues. The bathroom door doesn’t stay open was a bit of annoyance, but nothing horrible enough for us to avoid this hotel. we would stay again if the need arise, but hope renovations are in the near future.
Dirty, shabby, and dusty rooms

When entered, all we felt in the room was suffocation. When we looked around, we were in a shabby and dusty room which was having a spotty sofa. The first thing we needed (and we did) to survive was to open the window (Glad, it opened easily). My wife cleaned almost every piece of furniture that we would be using in the next two days of our stay. (Due to the pandemic, we didn't want anyone to enter our room, including the hotel staff.) Similar situation with the bathroom, with the over-smelly curtain. I wanted to log a complaint with the hotel, and found that the phones (there were 2 sets in the room) were not working! We felt unwell due to suffocation only after hours of closing the window in the night. We needed to keep the window open for the rest of the night because the room has no ventilation system in place. In the current pandemic, all the sanitizer stations in the hotel were running out of sanitizers. Good points: The mattress and bedding were surprisingly clean and comfortable. The breakfast room was well-kept, with a good range of breakfast options. Overall, this was the worst hotel stay in my life. I don't think I would ever return to the brand or would recommend anyone going to "Comfort by Choice".

The hotel is starting to show its age and needs to be refurbished soon. It was clean but dated. The staff was fine and the breakfast was good. My only real complaint is the need for updating, at least some new paint. The doors were chipped and the walls were scratched. We won’t stay again until I determine if it has been fixed up.

Room clean. Some bulbs out including bedside reading light. Probably good idea to have housekeeping personnel check these things. Check in quicker and easier than other places. Breakfast limited but OK.
