Great location and great stay

Fantastic location in the best neighborhood in Porto Alegre. Attached to a nice shopping mall with plenty of stores. Amazing restaurants and bars in the area. I used the gym which was very well equipped. Friendly staff. Room was a little bit outdated but very clean and comfortable - so no complaints there. Overall a great place to stay!

I had been thinking of staying at this hotel for a very long time, as I have been traveling to Porto Alegre continuously since 2013. However, because of the negative reviews, I never stayed here. However, this visit, I decided to try my luck. I was pleasantly surprised. The stay was very good. Positives :- 1. Extremely big room ( took the suite). I found it extremely comfortable and pleasant. 2. The front desk was very good. Thankfully, they all spoke fluent English ( a major problem in Brazil hotels ; that front desk is unable to speak in English). 3. Excellent location ; connected to a mall which has many coffee shops and excellent restaurants. 4. Shower was strong/hot 5. Internet was fast and efficient. 6. I used the gym, which was good with enough equipment. Permission required to use the gym. 7. The room was absolutely noise free, for a good nights sleep. 8. Enough plug points near the bed. Negatives 1. They have issued their gym membership to locals living in Porto Alegre. So, if you want to use the gym, at your preferred hour, you may be denied, if the gym is full of locals using it at the moment. I found it unfair and irritating. 2. The Ac was not very cool. The thermostat worked at the same temperature, at any setting, you may insert on it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Do not believe the negative reviews below. I will return to stay again. Central location in Mohino but hotel is run down

The hotel is situated on the edge of the Mohino district which full of bars and restaurants. Checked in to the hotel was easy and the staff was friendly. The room however was not up to standards of maintenance and cleanliness. They also had a strange blue tint in the window which made the room feel odd. It’s a series of little things like crooked light fixtures in the hallway, loose towel rack in the bathroom, stains on the chair, the table top looking streaked etc. They need to step up the cleaning and maintenance. The gym and pool is on the top floor. They are both very dated. The equipment in the gym looked like a gap hazard mix of things gathered over the year. The pool is actually very small and indoor. Not very appealing.

Great location but tired rooms

Best location in Porto Alegre next to a shopping mall, nice neighborhood and park. Reception area was just remodeled and service is ok. We have been staying in this hotel for over a decade and rooms have not been upgraded. They look tired and bathroom needs better cleaning.

This hotel is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Porto Alegre. Close for shops, bars, & top notch restaurants and really really safe with lots of security around. The rooms are clean the air conditioning and staff is great. Will stay there again for sure.
