Little Corsican bliss

We stayed in this family resort for two weeks for the second year in a row in house 2. We loved it at first sight, this place is absolutely perfect for holidays. The house we stayed in is the second last of the resort which makers it very quiet. It was recently completely refurbished inside and outside and the place is absolutely gorgeous and very comfy. There is air conditioning in the entire house, a fully equiped kitchen, a stylish Italian shower and an outside barbecue. There are two bedrooms with comfortable beds, we slept like babies!!! The plus is the splendid view on the sea with no vis à vis at all. The place is peaceful, has a 25m long pool and a tennis court. The closest beach and supermarket are 5min drive and the Figari Airport is 30min away. We can only recommand couples or families to come to this little paradise. We had a blast and we surely come back soon!!
Great location, ok rooms, poor value

Bocca de oro is probably one of the best spots in Corsica, great location that can easily access great beaches such as Palombaggia and great services around Porto Vecchio. The residence offers small and medium sized apartments with a good communal garden, a nice choice for babies and pets. The view towards Sardinia is very nice by day and by night. In August though it comes at a hefty price for the value that it offers. You just "buy" the place with zero services (i.e. you need to make up your own bed and clean your own dishes even when you leave) which makes it something more like a camping leaving at a luxury hotel price. Not great value for money. Nice reception service. Room furnishing very basic.
Well we loved it!

We had a 2 bedroom ground door apartment- ideal for us - the tiny bedrooms (very French) were made up for by the large terrace/garden with grill - a spit away from the pool. The staff were charming and tried their best to be very helpful. Only gripe is that shops/restaurants are not really in walkable distance... oh and the price - NOT cheap!
Terrible place !!

If you like killing ants every time you get back to the appartment ... This is the place to be !! I booked here for 4 days .. Terrible mistake .. You can start by making up your own bed and clean some dishes. Since the dishwasher is crap half is still dirty from previous occupants. We had a room with no AC, my mistake, but the fans provided were full of dust. Everything about these appartments is Old, overused or only half working.
Peaceful and close to beaches

Hameau is situated between the two beaches, the property is calm, expect for our room, which was situated next to the parking lot, there was noise during the night. The views from rooms are to the sea, which is great. The apartments are basic but the there is everything you need. The only BIG minus is the lack of wifi, it should be available. I did not get the connection to work a single time. Also as I was worried about the lack of AC already on before hand I do think that it is a shame the our room was lacking the fan also.
