I would fully recommend Dear Porto Guest House. The locations is great, few minutes from Trindade Metro Station that connects you to the airport, and also in few minutes you head down to the city centre. The staff is super friendly amd helpful. The rooms are cleaned and they have everything you need for a perfect stay. Rooms and area is quiet. I will definitely come back again there :) Alojamiento totalmente recomendable. Si ubicación es excellente, unos 5 minutos a pie de la estación de Trindade de donde se puede tomar el metro para el aeropuerto. El personal es super amable y servicial. Las habitaciones están super limpias y tienen todo lo necesario parar tener una buena estancia. Volveré allí sin dudas. Gracias :)

We spent 3 nights at this Guest House and we have only good things to say about it, the location is great at the top of Sta. Catarina, the room was spacious and clean with bathroom, only hang up was no elevator, you could pay for a good breakfast, the staff were very helpful. Metro was 10 minutes and everything you wish to see and do was all in walking distance.

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes at the most from the nearest metro station which can take you direct to the airport within 30 minutes, but you sometimes have to wait 20 minutes for the metro to arrive. The centre of town is fairly close and within easy walking distance, as is the Cathedral and Ponte Luis 1 bridge, also the Station San Bento if you want to travel to Guimares or Braga The room is basic, with a small bathroom, but clean. We had breakfast in the accommodation the first morning but it was poor so went elsewhere our second day.

The place is next the commercial touristic area. The front desk girls doesn't now how to welcome a guest. In the first day my daugther hurt baddly her finger on the outside door. The handle knob is a trap. It's a clean place. For us, the breakfast fee didn't worth it. Bad internet connection. Loose toilet seat. The Exhaust Bath Fan didn't work. Bathroom without lock. Bathroom light switch from outside. No softener on the towels.

Good Location - can walk to all major points of interest. Clean Room - simple, but clean and updated room. Friendly Staff - super helpful, even accommodating to our after hours arrival. For breakfast recommend Fábrica da Nata (pastéis de nata) a couple blocks down the road. Muito Obrigado!
