Really nice, comfy, modern hotel. However, there’s something you need to know before booking your stay/vacations: the bathroom walls are made of frosted glass, which implies a lack of privacy for some people that are travelling with other people. Also, the bathroom door is made of frosted glass aswell and doesn’t lock. There’s just a small latch. I’m not sure if you can ask for a room with a different type of bathroom, but most of the rooms have a frosted glass bathroom. The beds are very comfy, there’s a minibar in the room, some rooms in the ground floor have balconies. If you like quiet rooms, ask for the rooms that don’t face the street. The underground/metro station is almost in front of the hotel. If you want to go to “Santa Catarina” street, just take the subway to “Bolhão” (any line from “Heroismo” will do, however, be aware of the destination points so you wont go in the opposite direction). “Bolhão” is 2 stops away from “Heroismo”, where the hotel is located. When you step outside “Bolhão” station, you’re in Rua Santa Catarina. There’s a shopping center there, there’s “Majestic Café” and so on… The hotel breakfast is very good and there’s plenty of choice. The rooms without balconies have closed windows, which can make them REALLY hot. I think it would make sense if you could open just a little bit of your window... If you have trouble with closed spaces/windows, maybe it’s a good idea to ask for a room with a balcony. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean and lovely. I sure loved this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Eurostars Heroismo. It is a modern, ample, clean beautiful hotel. Our room was big and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. As we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, we received a free room upgrade with a balcony and also a bottle of sparkling wine, grapes and chocolate. We were very impressed and we would like to thank all staff and mention some that we met and were super nice and helpful to us: Ricardo and Bruno (breakfast), Marco, Marta, Carla and Margarida (reception) and Diana (restaurant). Thank you. Rose and Geraint
Great return visit

I decided to make this our Porto base again for the arrival and departure days on my long awaited visit to see our Portugal based son after over 18 months gap between trips due to the pandemic. The hotel was not surprisingly a lot emptier than on previous occasions, but the staff were excellent and the cleanliness regime perfect. Comfortable spacious room with a very good breakfast (a special treat for my son) - and excellent value too.

This property is well located and easy to move around the city . Hiring an Uber is also easy and probably the best way to visit the attractions. Nice & clean hotel although limited menu options and 10-15 mins walk to good cafes & restaurants
