Was raised in this city,and the Black Angus was off the chain. Great restaurant andin rooms all ways in great shape. We have moved back to my home town. It was late on a Friday night so we book a room on line for $48 some foreigner from the middle east just want to argue with me about the price. We finally got to the room. It was nasty the ac did not work properly and to top it of my wife was In the shower and was full of cock roaches. This race needs be shut down and burned to the ground.

Love the Black Angus, it is not the taj mahal but is clean, owners bend over backwards to make your visit feel like home. It may be worn and showing its age, but so am I. Thanks for saving our room for us.

Bugs in the beds!

My daughter had to stay here with a group she was travelling with. Both rooms they booked were infested with bugs that were actually in the beds. They had to spray down the beds with bug spray and sleep on top of the bedspread. Totally unacceptable, irrespective of the price.

I travel 200 + days a year and stay in many motels across the country. I do not look for the Taj Mahal, and usually I'm aware of what a 1 to 2 Star Motel is. I expect little more than a cool and comfortable space to sleep. What I found here was actually much less. The bed was badly broken down, the air conditioner did not cool the room. I was awake sweating half the night. The bathroom walls were peeling, and the shower was nearly nonexistent as far as a shower head. It appeared that very little effort is put into cleaning the room on a regular basis. I very seldom ever leave a bad review for a ma and pop Motel. But this one, I thought you should know!

I have stayed in all types of hotels, motels, inns, suites...for the money this was a great value. Our room was clean and warm. The bathroom was clean and had a tub which was great for bathing my small child after a day on the trails. We had a fridge and microwave, which helped save on our good bill. If I'd listened to all the reviews instead of giving Black Angus a chance we would have spent a lot more money unnecessarily.
