Good one night stay while travelling through Poland

Reviewed 30 june, 2019

I was travelling to Germany through Poland via A2 and had a layover at this hotel. LOCATION - quite good, not very far from A2 but I was arriving during a huge traffic so it took me more than 30 minutes to reach the hotel from A2. There are shops and gas stations near the hotel (Biedronka, Aldi). Did not see many places to eat though HOTEL - just a building with rooms, nothing special. Not very new but not outdated as well. ROOM - room was quite good, it had a comfortable bed, a good bathroom, a kettle with water and coffee. There was no a/c in the room but I knew that when I was booking the hotel PARKING - there is a private parking in the hotel area. Costs 2.3 euro for one day. FOOD - there is restaurant in the hotel where you can have breakfast/dinner. I had nothing so I can't rate the quality of the food All in all - a good night sleep in a good hotel. Nothing special but nothing negative as well.

Ok for the price

This hotel was very hard to find even with Google map. The location was really confusing especially at night so. Still a long walk from the main Tramstop road so take note of that if you don't have a car or not in a taxi. There's an elevator which was ok coz we had a baby and a stroller and bags but there's a flight of stairs before entering the hotel/reception desk so take note of that too. Slow check in and check out. The room was big enough for us 3. The 2 beds were separated though. Quiet at night. Good sleep.

Nothing special and noisy

Opened in 1937, Despite a lime paint job it still looks tired. Stopped in standard twin room, beds not very comfortable and you will definitely need extra pillows. 32" flat screen TV, quite a few channels but only a couple of news channels in English. No kettle or mini bar. shower no bath. Paper thin walls and don't expect a lie in because you cannot close any of the bedroom doors without slamming them. Sauna and billiard room available but never used. Free wifi is insecure. Restaurant offers reasonable choice of meals, quality is good, prices OK but service is a bit slow. Breakfast if not part of your package is 25 zloty (around £5.30) and is continental. Full english not available apart from scrambled eggs and boiled sausages. The hotel is 6km from the airport and although there is a tram stop close by we used taxis all the time (Uber 14 Zloty = £3.00 but this can vary depending on time of day) Poznan city centre is around 8km away and costs around 20 Zloty £4.30

Good place to stay in

Reviewed 19 december, 2017

I have spend in the hotel a week during my business trip. Hotel is located in a very convenient place - not far from the airport and close to the city center. It has it's own payed parking. Breakfasts and dinners were good. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. Hotel is very light and clean. Wi-Fi connection sometimes became pretty poor and unusable. The room itself was large, but the bathroom is way too small - when sitting on the toilet, knees touch the wall and the door :) Shower is tinny as well. Overall impression is pretty good.

Went to Torun for the SGP, via Poznan, stayed in this Hotel. Was very good, beds was comfortable, food was lovely, beer in the bar was cheap... you couldn't want much more for the value for money.. Only thing is it's a little out of the way and is hard to be found when arriving in Poznan
