Cavendish Breeze Inn

Kayo and Mickey were wonderful hosts. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Absolutely loved having our own porch with wicker chairs to enjoy the evening after a long day of touring

Had a two night stay booked this week and ended up staying three. The husband and wife owners are wonderful hosts and made us feel so comfortable. The Inn is older, as most places in Cavendish are but there have been many upgrades to the rooms and ours was spotless. We were provided with a light healthy breakfast every morning and upon our return for the night our rooms were returned to check in condition. The pool and furniture were very clean and plenty of chairs were available. Would definitely stay here again, great value, reasonable price and sweet accommodations.

Once we finally arrived (it was a long "several stops" trip from Ohio), Kayo had upgraded us to a bigger room. It was not quite the tourist season so the inn was not full. I hardly know where to start. Great location, comfy beds, a TV room, nice bathroom and a deck/balcony. The downstairs is lovely and the breakfast room is large, maybe 6 tables of various sizes. Kayo and I discovered that we both love lupins and, of course, Anne. My husband and I had decided that we would need to find a laundromat as we'd been on the road a while. Well, OF COURSE (why was I not surprised?), there was a laundry room on the premises and Kayo even had change and soap. What a woman! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on the island! Great people, Kayo and Mickey; great room, beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts. What's not to like? You won't regret staying here.

PEIには3度訪れ、そのうち2回Cavendish Breeze Innに宿泊しました。大好きな宿です！ お部屋は可愛く清潔です。私は両親と訪れましたが、前回は二階の眺めの良い部屋にしましたが足が悪いので階段が大変で今回は一階の部屋を選びました。朝食も美味しく素敵なB&Bです。Green Gablesも近く、歩いて恋人の小径やおばけの森にお散歩に行けます。 私たちは車を運転しないので、KayoさんとMickeyさんは送迎やツアーもしてくれるのでとても助かります。事前にメールでツアーについて細かく相談でき、現地に着いてからは天気などをみて臨機応変に対応してくれます。説明を沢山してもらえるというよりは、赤毛のアンやPEIの歴史などが好きで、自分で調べているしあそこもここも行きたいけど車がない、という方にはとても良いと思います。シンプルなツアーです。英語に自信のない方はKayoさんに、英語で楽しみたい方はMickeyさんにツアーをお願いするといいですよ。毎回忙しく予定を詰め込んでしまいますが、次回は1日のんびりしたいです。 お二人とも気さくで話しやすいので、とても穏やかな時間が過ごせます。 I visited PEI three times and stayed at Cavendish Breeze Inn twice of those. I love this place! The room is cute and clean. I stayed with my parents. We stayed a room of second floor last time, but it was hard to go up stairs, we chose first floor’s room at this time. Breakfast is delicious, here is cozy and lovely B&B. We could easy to go to Green Gables, definitely Lover’s lane and Haunted wood. Red sand tour is helpful to us because we don’t drive. Kayo and her husband Mickey organized various tour and transportation. If you want a simple tour, it’s suite you! Not so much info but we enjoyed talking and had a good time. We can choose tour of Japanese or English.They are very friendly, we spent a comfy time. Thank you so much!

I found this place online and kept in touch with Kayo (the owner) via email. I sent her all the 'Anne' places I wanted to visit. I called her a couple of times before I left my country Sri Lanka and finalised the stay. However I didn't know what to expect as some places were far away and some very close and I wanted to do it ALL. When I finally got there Kayo was there to meet me at the Charlottetown airport as I had arranged for transport. She was so sweet and friendly. Although I got in late as there was a flight delay, she made sure that I did all I wanted to do. So that day it was quite a rush to do Matthews Carriage Ride. She made it happen despite the odds and I got to experience this. Since I didn't drive she included these visits as part of the package and everything worked out fine. Most of the 'Anne' places are within walking distance from the Inn and it was very convenient. I just had to walk across to Anne of Green Gables Home, Lucy Maud’s Home and grave, Post office, Lake of Shinning waters, Red Cliffs and Cavendish National Park. The Inn is something else, it’s a Beautiful Cosy place that felt like ‘Home’. I LOVED IT!!!!!! Kayo is such an AMAZING Host. Loved the Breakfast and she bakes some FANTASTIC Blueberry Muffins!!! I loved my bedroom; it felt like I was staying at Green Gables. In fact I LOVED EVERYTHING about Cavendish Inn. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to everyone. On the last day Kayo’s husband who runs the “Red Sand Tour” service arranged a small tour for me which covered all the ‘Anne ‘ places that were a distance away and finally dropped me off at Charlottetown where I took the bus to Halifax. He was so helpful and together Kayo and husband had worked out an itinerary that covered all the places I wanted to visit, including Lucy Maud’s Birthplace, the ‘Anne’ Dress Up shop, etc. A HUGE THANK YOU to Kayo and Mickey for making my stay EXTRA SPECIAL & SOOOO MEMORABLE!!!!
