Don't book if you live in Pueblo

I like to stay at hotels even within the city I live in and chill in the hottub. For a big guy like me 6'1 300lbs a normal bathtub does me no justice. I booked here and they told me locals are not welcomed once I tried to check in. No where does it say that on the website or on Hotels.com which is where I booked through. I already paid for a room I'm not staying in, now I have to call to get a refund that will probably take a few days to get. This is f'n BS!! I do not recommend this hotel at all, if I didn't pick up their trash for work I would never come near this place. This happened to me just a few minutes ago 12/11/21 around 5:20pm.
Comfortable, But GPS Won't Find It

We were on the road from here to there, and needed a night's stay in Pueblo. This place looked good online, not far from the Interstate, and the price was right. Set the GPS and go, right? Well, someone needs to update the Garmin map database. Our first attempt off the freeway dead-ended in a business parking lot. Our second attempt took us right to the place... on the other side of a busy railroad track, with no obvious crossing. We fumbled around a while, and finally found a way over the tracks. It appears that highway re-construction over the past few years has changed the access road. Be aware. Once inside, however, we found a nice hotel with comfortable beds, a cheerful staff, and a quiet night. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but two nice places, one seafood fast food, and one Mexican, flank the parking lot out front. There's a shopping mall a few moments drive away. I downcheck it to "average" because, maybe due to the pandemic, breakfast was just a sack with fruit, a small Danish pastry, and yogurt.
Friendly staff but unclean rooms

The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. They were very short staffed and were doing what they could under the circumstances. The room itself would have been adequate if it had been maintained and cleaned appropriately. The toilet seat was about to fall off and the back of the toilet had urine around the fasteners. The clothing hook and toilet paper holder were pulling out of the wall. They need a maintenance worker to fix issues. Hopefully they will get issues fixed and hire more staff.
Baymont Pueblo Hotel Review

The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. No complementary breakfast because covid. I liked that there was an elevator that worked, during my weeklong trip the other hotels/motels made me haul my large suitcase up a few flights of stairs. Of course the Baymont was the nicer hotel that I had stayed in during my trip. I recommend if passing through Pueblo.
The worst hotel ever last 25yrs

It was a horrible stay, it smelt everywhere even in the guest room, I had to cover my nose with my t-shirt , could not use their blankets......... It was a terrible hotel, this hotel is worth of less than $50.00 stay, not $ 160.00.
