So sad , no customer care, no maintenance Other reviews said overhaul I would say burn it down and start new. So much potential but its so so so sad AVOID AT ALL COST. Staff are friendly enough but even they seem tired with their work or the owners.

Nice place, bit out of the city center. Good value for money with a great breakfast close to the pool. Not as high class as the pictures look like but nice place to stay for two nights to visit the waterfalls.

We arrived midnight and had informed, but still the room was hot and no AC turned on. Ants were crawling around, and we had to spray the room against mosquitos. Dogs to the neighbour was barking all night, Batroom door could not be closed and was very worn.Curtains were at least 30 years old., and some of the floor tyles were loose. Slow internet several places. Light breakfast served on wooden plate....Pictures are not what you see in reality. This is more a max 3 star hotel at the most and Hotel.com call this a 4 star. The restaurant was a very good highlight at the hotel.

Nice spot; needs a facelift

Located on the edge of town and 1km easy walk to town centre. Close to 3 fronteras walk on the river. The level of service from staff varied - some were great and some a little lacklustre. Some spoke English. The grounds are nice enough but could use a little more maintenance, though I realize it's hard to keep things looking fresh in that climate. The cleanliness of the pool varied throughout the day but again could use a little more attention. Our room upstairs at the back of the property was huge, as was the bathroom. It was not well sealed though (to keep out bugs). It took a long time for the AC to cool the room upon arrival but fine after that. Cleanliness = 3/5. The room/grounds/facilities could use a upgrade (fresh paint, new furniture, new stepping stones etc.). It looked though like they may be renovating some of the rooms so maybe it's in progress already. Breakfast service was somewhat slow. You're provided an individual platter with a croissant, bread, jams/butter, melon, ham and cheese, cereal, juice and coffee or tea. It was ample size. There was a bar with a few extras you could grab like granola. The breakfast staff seemed somewhat indifferent to the guests. The dinner restaurant is fantastic! Highly recommend it for a nice meal. Good food, wine and service. Do NOT get a massage here - it was the worst of my life. The masseuse basically rubbed lotion on me and didn't really massage. Also, her phone went off several times during the treatment and no apology.

Quaint and comfortable

Enjoyed our stay here. Wonderful to have a dip in the pool after our days of exploring. We had two meals in the restaurant and enjoyed both. There are other great restaurants near by so lots of dining options to chose from. Our only complaint would be the macadamia trees were dropping their nuts so they would hit our roof at night. Not that anything can be done about it but it was a bit annoying. The joys of rainforest life! All the staff were friendly. The front desk staff were happy to answer questions about the Falls/make recommmendations/book taxis, etc for us.
