With lowered expectations, one could stay here. This place may be under a change of management, so a future visit might be better. There were a few hightlights before the list of nyegatives. Their Pulp Fiction hamburger was excellent, as was their take on lemonade. The use of wood as the central theme in the hotel was a pleasant alternative to the usually sterile interiors of most big box hotels. Hard to identify hotel: The hotel had no sign outside. This is why I believe it is changing hands. In the parking lot, we found the remains of the sign. Parking lot: hard to find the entrance, poorly lit. The directions to the elevator were non-existant. We ended up using a service elevator which brought us to the service area on one of the floors. We finally located a door and ended up in a suite of the hotel's management offices. The offices were closed, but there was one person left chatting on the phone who saw us roaming around, but did nothing to assist us. Room: all the furniture and decor showed some wear and tear. The toilet seat was disintergrating underneath--yuck. The shower head was ancient and was also disintegrating which meant that the water sprayed in all directions, including the floor. Breakfast: cold room, cold eggs, non-working toaster.

Need for Improvement in Service and Facility

Given the circumstances that the friend and I were traveling under - the ongoing corona epidemic/pandemic, the hotel staff seemed almost indifferent to our apparent concerns and issues. And I had some problems with my room - the safe was not working, the chair in the room was very uncomfortable, the lighting poor, etc.

Great Little Hotel in Puerto Montt

Spent three days here in Puerto Montt. The location was an easy walk to everywhere we needed to go. The restaurant and bar, and staff, were great. One of the better breakfast fares we've had lately. Check-In and Check-Out were quick and easy.

The service and breakfast were very good. Also the room was very clean and we had a wonderful view. Nevertheless it wasn't outstanding and the WIFI wasn't working at all- there was barely enough to send text messages. Also after contacting the front desk twice there was no improvement. The staff was friendly but that didn't help much in our situation.

Very good hotel Large rooms, very good service, excellent breakfast very good air condition. In the restaurant very good food and in the bar very good cocktails. Unfortunately, we had no time to test the gym and the pool.
