A big thank you to Teresa, Mary and Ivonne in the kids club for making my girls feel welcome, for all the amazing crafts and the incredible braids! I felt very comfortable having the kids there! You guys were great! We really appreciate all your hard work!
The Staff Makes This Place Special

3rd time here and it's still great. If you are looking for a high-end, all-inclusive that isn't designed around night life, this is your place. Don't get my wrong, our group enjoyed many cocktails. But, that isn't the focus of this place. The facilities are nice, as are the rooms (opt for a one-bedroom suite if you can). However, the staff is what elevates this place against the competition. Everyone is out to assist the guests. We really love the Kids Club too (we had four kids 9-12 in our group). On this trip, Teresa, Mary and Ivonne were fantastic! They really made the kids feel special...and it gives a nice break for the parents too. I wish I could remember all the names of the folks we especially liked, but Carlos and Javier at the pool really stood out. The staff that take care of the chairs and towels at the pool are aways great too. Food quality and variety is generally very good, as is the bar program. One other thing: Tipping. We heard from some of the timeshare owners that non-owners don't always tip. If you do though, it goes a long way. We made sure to recognize the maid service, the turndown service, the pool folks, the concierge, all the servers, the Kids Club workers, etc. If you take care of them, they will know your kids names, what pool chairs you like, your drink preferences...everything. It's well worth the extra money and, frankly, it's the right thing to do.

My husband and I took our son (18m old) for the first time to Cancun . This hotel was the best ! From the service to food everything was great! I would like to mention some of the people who made our stay great : From the amazing pool workers : Eliseo, Chez, Jesus ,Fidencio, Wilberth . To the waitresses: Luis and Herasimo and so many others . Sandra was the best housekeeper! Loved the resort ! I highly suggested.

Our friend chose Grand Residences as a vacation spot for her birthday. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade (for $x) when we arrived, and we opted to do so. We were blown away by the size of our room! We ended up with a beachfront Master Suite because it was the only beachfront room to accommodate 4 guests. It was more space than we could have needed - including a full kitchen with great appliances - and was more than comfortable as a result. We were very pleased with the service at this resort - the staff was all incredibly friendly and attentive. Our children were traveling with us and loved the Kids Club so much and were really upset when we had to leave. They offered a variety of activities throughout each day that the kids can choose to do. Shout out to Teresa, Mary, and Ivonne in the Kids Club for taking such good care of them and making it so enjoyable! I also felt safe enough here to allow my children to go to and from the Kids Club on their own (which was a first for us). The entire resort was exceptionally clean. Our room was well maintained and the common areas were very well taken care of. We are very pleased with this resort and plan on returning.

The resort is super quiet, mostly for older couples and families, there is a time share component. Appreciated the washer and dryer soooo much! Pool was awsom, beach was no bueno due to seawood but the staff really tried to clean it through out the day. Food was amazing! You do need dinner reservations but was not a problem getting any. Top shelf liqours were all included- don julio, 1800 etc, there is a menu. Rooms are awsom with super comfortable beds and pillow menu. Night turn down service included little animal figurines. They also include bug spray in all the rooms. Airport transfer was included! We also had massage at the spa, i get massages monthly due to my back and my occupation so believe me when i say the therapists here were excellent! Downside is there is no hydrotherapy/steam/sauna. I think the staff were the best part, so friendly and helpful, and I feel like that gave a really relaxing atmosphere!
