What a wonderful trip.

It’s been so great. The staff are amazing and the food, service and drinks have all been top shelf. I cant believe this hotel has just opened as they are running at full steam without issues. Everyone has been so great. Carlos at the tequila bar and Luis at the main bar also Pedro at the quiet pool bar. All managers are on top of everything and the training of their people has been awesome. A real gem in the Hilton brand as a diamond member I have seen a lot of their hotels across the world from Tokyo to Berlin to San Diego. This one is at the top of the list.

Loved our trip at the start of December to Hilton Cancun All inclusive. We travelled with a 8yr old who loved the kids club and the activities they had planned. Food at all the restaurants is fantastic. Special shout out to Paulo (bellboy), Antonio (Auma Restaurant), all the girls at the kids camp :) Can’t wait to come back to the hotel

We found the property to be a perfect size. It is made up of 2 sides, one has an active pool and one has a more chilled atmosphere at the pool. Can not say enough about the service, willingness to help with any thing you might need. There were only 3 specialty restuarants open when we were there, (it had only been open a month) Mexican, Italian and Steak. They were all very good, nice portions, and very good service. All the dining venue have outside options to dine. The rooms were nice sized , we had a view of the ocean and active pool view, which also has a large splash pad for the kids, with water slides. The rooms also have 2 queen size beds, instead of 2 double size beds, which a lot of properties I have stayed in have. I would like to mention some employees that were a little special Giovoni at the concierge desk. He was wonderful Luis bartender at the lobby bar, and actually his entire staff at the lobby bar, were very attentive. Entertainment team: Pamela, Fernanda, Angel, Victor, and the rest of the team. We've been lucky enough to visit Mexico several times over the past few years, both as a couple and also as a family. The resort via its website and a bit of internet research persuaded us to stay here rather than our usual resort (the Grand at Moon Palace). The resort is very well designed and of a very high end finish but has left a lot wanting. The staff are all working extremely hard and also we appreciate the resort , being as new as it is, was always going to have teething problems - but we feel some of the things we thought were open that aren't have cast a bit of a shadow over our stay. Us and previous guests have been misled on opening times of the kids club, amphitheatre, kids parks 4th restaurant especially. The following points are areas we feel could be improved: - All inclusive menus lacking in depth and options. The staff have been working around the resort very hard and we cannot fault them; drinks services have been of excellent quality and rapid service when required. Some of the restaurant service has been a bit of organised chaos but the food in general has been good - it's just the lack of choice and availability of certain items that's a problem, most of the upsale items we'd go for usually havent been available. This will only get worse in coming weeks when capacity is ramped up - The kids club not being open has been a big disappointment for our children really as they we looking forward to using the facilities, we appreciate the kids club is still available in one of the corporate suites but it all seems a bit makeshift and of poor quality. Very little for teens to do any longer than 5 days they'll be bored. - As a doctor, I have noticed that enforcement of mask wearing is non existent. We feel this if not addressed could eventually lead to upsetting guest who wear the masks and follow the mandatory rules who will in turn leave negative feedback regarding this on the internet that will put off future guests/families who are keen on feeling safe through covid outbreaks etc booking in your resort. We appreciate there are signs up saying mask wearing is mandatory in public spaces, but most guests seem to ignore these signs. - Cafe and churros bar options need improvement and a bigger variety. (This did improved through the stay) - We appreciate the website is advertising the completed hotel, but some of the photos and videos, especially of the beach, people could find them misleading at present- also the website menus differ from the in resort menus. -Steps in the pool are very difficult to see and have razor sharp edges in some sections. They could really do with some protective cover or edge to make them more visible. - In heavy rain nearly every door leaks water and floods quite badly, nearly every section of garden floods through lack of drainage and debris ends up all over the paths. Rain also destroys the front beach pathways, thus making them unsafe. When this has happened the staff have worked tirelessly to correct this and we fully appreciate the heavy rain fall can cause issues in tropical climate. - When it rains, the roof over the steak house restaurant tips water over the seating near edge of the restaurant. -smoke alarm green light in the room is irritating in the night. - Anything above a basic room looks NOTHING like advertised, The beach looks NOTHING like advertised, the facitlities are NOTHING like advertised. -Cross contamination of foods at the buffet is a worry medically for allergy suffers and obviously will be against some religious dietary requirements and personal dietary requirements, eg vegetarian and vegan. Perhaps separating the vegetarian and meat containing dishes at different stations may be an option, to prevent use of the same serving spoons. - Not one Christmas decorations in sight, which is the total opposite to the other resorts we have stayed in and a big disappointment for the kids. - None shops open, to get anything needed- not even paracetamol or basic amenities available. It's a $40 dollar round trip in a taxi to get anything. The hotel has a long road to improvement unfortunately, we voiced our concerns to the management who seemed willing and listened to our concerns but by the end of the stay felt it fell on deaf ears. The hotel has potential but feel unfortunately over coming months a drop in review ratings will show the true state of the resort and cracks will be shown

The food was spectacular, the service was impressive and the staff were great. The food was great at the buffet and also at the restaurants, best food in a all-inclusive hotel I have stayed at. Definitely coming back, highly recommended.
