Dreamy Hacienda Stay
Hacienda San Angel was the most beautiful and picturesque place I've ever stayed in. I felt like I was stepping back in time. The paintings, lighting, and decor, were so impressive. We ate at the restaurant once but only because my husband and I enjoy trying different restaurants in town. All of the servers were professional, welcoming, and friendly. Every time we passed the maid she always asked if we needed anything. The continental breakfast every morning was also wonderful. We stayed in the Angels View Suite and the only downside to our stay was the bed. Unfortunately it was too hard which made for restless nights. Also, our suite was right above the restaurant and Sunday morning we were awaken by the preparations for Sunday brunch. But the positive side is that we could sit on the balcony at night and listen to the mariachi below during dinner hours. We'll definitely stay here again. This hacienda is what telenovelas are made of.
Best hotel in Puerto Vallarta
The hotel is beautiful with breathtaking views. The customer service is excellent. I stayed for 2 weeks and I wish I could stay forever. The food is stellar and they have a mariachi band that plays 6 evenings a week. I highly recommend staying there when you go to Puerto Vallarta.
Roof top dinning at it’s finest
We were there just after Christmas Day 2020, be warned parking can be a challenge, narrow and steep streets, cab if you can. Aside from that well worth it, spacious dinning very Covid conscious and servers all have face shields. Service is outstanding, met every need. The food is worthy of the view to go with it. We started with a house margarita and martinis, well done. Starters, shrimp coconut cream soup and house salad with mango ginger dressing...must do. Our mains were the short ribs, very tender, Chilean sea bass, very good and the Shrimp Chile Poblanos, not too spicy, very flavourful. While expensive is a great place for a special night, last night in PVR or just looking to up your dinning menu....do it
Unbelievable experience
Made a reservation here the first night arriving in Puerto Vallarta. Was unsure if we had the right location at first, then the large wooden door opened and we felt like we were invited into the palace. The wait staff was nothing outside of Michelin Star standards. The 3 course meal was part of the dining experience from different restaurants around Puerto Vallarta. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere decadent, food prepared and displayed with fine attention. I would recommend this place to anyone who is accustomed to fine dinning in a very unique setting or for those wanting the experience. Do yourself a favor and immerse yourself in the experience, dress for the occasion, don't show up in board shorts and flip flops.
WOW!!!!!! THE BEST
This was by far the most beautiful dinner place I've been to in a long time. It encapsulates a Mexican Hacienda with a Spanish vibe. The staff, the owner, the grounds, the beautiful gardens, amazing light and space..the live music and beautiful voices singing at our table... I cannot recommend this place enough.
