They didn’t honor our reservation. “ Oops. We had more people staying longer. Your rooms aren’t available.” The only option they gave us was booking an extra room in a neighboring hotel and pay extra for it !!!!!!! They didn’t take charge of their own mistake.
could’ve been alright

this hotel is an okay option if nearby classier AWA has no availability. we found the decor quite tacky, and their service below average. we booked a suite with a balcony and upon arrival were told they had sold our room to someone else and had us stay in an inferior room without any type of compensation. management is poor and amateurish. rooms are clean and breakfast is just ok.

The location is very poor for a beach town: it’s a long drive away from la playa. There is a seedy casino and C- shopping mall nearby, as well as a couple very pricey restaurants. It’s excessively expensive for what is a 2-star hotel in reality. The elevator is broken, and apparently has been for months. If you want to charge $18 USD for an appetizer at the bar, don’t make us take the stairs several flights. The real issue though was the staff. The front desk has 1-2 people at all times on their phones with limited training. It’s really unfortunate. Given the location, there is no way to improve, so book here if you need a discount experience in an extremely expensive city. Enjoy what I consider an amazing country, but be prepared to pay London/Paris/Tokyo prices!

Expensive for a « simple » hotel whith prices of a 4 stars, but offering 2 stars services - only one elevator, always busy and not working properly (doors closing in two times) - very poor bathroom products (no body lotion for instance), no weight scale - very poor tv channel selection - one hanger in the bedroom closet - bar closing before midnight during high season - very slow check out process Hotel taking advantage of the high demand in Punta during summer time,
They try hard!! and a new Restaurant is under way soon! Great Smiley Team!!
