Visit was good but the experience at Verandah leaves a bitter taste

Though the service and rooms was very good Their Verandah restaurant food quality leaves much to be desired Service time is long even to be served a beverage The senior staff are lackadaisical and have no empathy They could improve if the seniors are moved around to other locations so as to stimulate instead of creating a lazy work culture

Amazing service in the dining hall by Ashok.

Ashok was serving us at the dining hall during our stay. He was very polite. Had a wonderful time there at the beach resort. Will definitely come back again. The resort is located right at the beach. The rooms are very spacious and airy.

Beautiful property, excellent food at the restaurant, quiet, excellent service! Special shoutout to Ashok, Chauradhar, Raju, Sonam, Lilima, and Jharana for making our restaurant visits memorable. The place is close to the Jaganath Temple and the private beach was super clean.

We stayed in the first few days of the new year 2023 at this property. The location of the hotel is great, with a sea view room and direct access to the beach. We really loved the character of the hotel. The staff was the nicest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked out of the room. Special thanks to Mr. Pramod at the check-in for addressing all our queries. We had food at Samudra and their specility restaurant - Two States. It was simply fantastic. Highly recommend their Odiya thali, some of the awesome dishes we have tried. Also, all the bengali specialty dishes like Allen's Cutlet, Ilish Fry, Vetki patrapoda, and Dhoka dalna. Thanks to Chef, Mr. Smruti Singh for accommodating our requests. Heaps of thanks to Mr. Alok Sasmal, F&B Manager, and his entire team (Pratap, Sanjay, Ashok, and everyone else). Also, special mention of their breakfast spread at Samudra with varied items and considering different clientele who visit this place. We highly recommend this property for a leisurely vacation.

All the staff at Mayfair Heritage were very polite and efficient and all our needs were immediately looked after.We had booked deluxe cottages and were allotted 108 and 109 which were listed as having a pool & garden view.However there was a wooden beam at eye level which blocked the view completely. To see the view we had to literally bend down & look.Rooms were clean and toiletries were adequate. Buffet breakfasts & dinners were in the Mayfair Waves hotel where staff was very polite and choice was tremendous.Our waiter Ashok was very efficient & friendly and gave us excellent service. Only minus point was the lawn had been let out for private functions on 2 nights and the loud music and shouting outside our rooms kept us awake till almost midnight.
