I stayed at this Hotel and I am a little disappointed, I had an executive sweet, and everything was OK except an unfinished ceiling. Disappointed of the breakfast, they claim is a continental breakfast but is far from it, breakfast area is two small it does not have much to chose from, does not have any hot items, has no eggs except hard boiled ones, no sausage of any kind, no waffle maker,it has good fresh fruit and juices . Coffee pot is two small only one that empties with the first 10 people, no decaf

I loved the location across from the shopping mall with bus stop. It made for a nice short walk. It was a nice, close place to grab a quick bite at their food court. I'm glad there were Canadian and American choices for shopping and eating. I loved upper Quebec. The old world charm, history, architecture. I found the people at our hotel above and beyond. They were extremely helpful with arranging buses numbers, taxis, tour arrangements. They were always eager to speak English when requested and respectfully obliged. (Although, realizing I was in their country, I asked in French and thanked them in French with my limited skill out of mutual respect) I found ship owners to be pleasant, helpful and appreciative. I would go back to this city in a heartbeat. The view over the St. Lawrence seaway from upper Quebec was Beautiful.

I've stayed at this hotel for an event. This hotel is located accross a shopping Mall and there's a few restaurants nearby. It is an easy access by car and around a 15-20 minutes drive to the old city or the waterfalls. The rooms were nice and up to date but I found the walls in the rooms was a bit gloomy. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty basic. This hotel has indoor pool and a small gym which were pretty decent. The staff at the reception was fine. Overall the price was good and it's location also decent.
Do NOT stay in room 100

We were there with another couple and had made reservations ahead of our visit. When we checked in, they were assigned a room on the second floor, and we were given room 100, “a really good room”. It turned out to be the only guest room on the first floor - located within yards of the lobby. The ‘background music’ from the lobby was clearly audible in our room, but we were able to go to sleep. However, at FIVE a.m., I was awakened by a cart or something being rolled down the tile floor outside our room. Then, the noise got even louder. We couldn’t figure out what could be that loud! When that din finally stopped, there was all kind of other noise - from the hallway and the lobby..people talking, etc. I gave up trying to sleep and got dressed. I went to the desk and said to the clerk, “I can’t imagine why they put us in that room right by the lobby. I’ve never heard so much noise from a hotel room”. The clerk said, “I can’t either!” She was not the same one who checked us in, and seemed really puzzled as to why we weren’t put upstairs with our relatives. She said she didn’t know why we were put in that room. I told her I did not want to spend another night there. She was very helpful, and did say we could change rooms later in the day. As it turned out, we had to get up so early for our flight the next morning, it didn’t really matter. We were going to be up early anyway. We did find out the next morning what the noise was. Sure enough, at FIVE a.m., the noise started again. We were up and dressed, so my husband went to see what was going on. It was a hotel employee, rolling a cooler to the ice machine! The ice machine was located on the other side of the wall from our room. Everyone knows how loud hotel ice machines are...and they were filling a cooler! If the hotel can’t afford another ice machine for the breakfast area, they should move that one away from the one guest room on the floor so guests can sleep.
