This attractive and comfortable hotel is situated in the southern coastal area of Boston with good access to the historic sights of Quincy. The city centre is located approximately 13 km away, and there are good local connections to the public transport network. Hotel's facilities include Kilroy's Irish pub a bar and an à la carte restaurant. In addition conference facilities and a public Internet terminal are available for business guests. So comfortable many of the staff are friends

Unfortunately, twice a long-term hotel stay was needed to facilitate recovering from injuries. During each stay, the staff were quick to provide assistance and were empathetic. Most of the staff are genuine people; the type you wish would live in your neighborhood. Even though they are working, most come across as supportive friends. The facility has fitness facilities, there is ample and safe walking area outside, and when it is cold, the hallways are long enough to allow for inside walking. Because this hotel holds conferences, the food offerings include healthy meals and there are ample office services. For long term stays, having everything at your disposal completes the experience. Also, the hotel guests are respectful. Of the over 15 hotels I visited in the Boston area, the best experience has been here.
Construction on guest from floors

First and last stay. When I went to my floor I realized they were retiring elevators on my floor. Doors open radio going. This was around 5:30. When it was still going on at 7 I asked about and the assured me it was done for the night. At 10:30 pm I am awakened by bangs and vacuum wining as they are now cleaning up. Why they didn't relocate me when I asked or even allow those activities at that hour is beyond me. Apparently very little customer service
Modern room, happening venue, hard-to-access location

Our sixth-floor room was fresh, modern, and sharp looking. You could run the TV off a QR code (although they also supplied a conventional remote). The bath, especially the shower, was also sharp looking. The view (out the front side) was great. One thing they could look at was that the door doesn't fully lock unless you pull it shut tight when leaving the room. The hotel was a happening place, with a wedding party staying there and a multi-day line dance event going on. There are a lot of elevators and they arrive rapidly. The bar and grill off the lobby was open all day and night and was popular for meals as well as drinks. Breakfast doesn't seem to be normally included in the room rate so we ate a Starbucks-like light breakfast from the grill. The lobby restrooms were spacious and clean. There were signs saying that masks were required in public areas, but in practice it was about half and half. The hotel is in an odd location, on top of a rock cliff and nowhere near much of anything. I didn't have much of anywhere to go on my morning walks - even going to the bottom of the hotel's parking garage alongside the cliff doesn't lead anywhere. Driving to or from the hotel is kind of nerve wracking - it's in the middle of a tangle of highways, parkways, drives, exits, lane changes, etc that was making our car's GPS system lose its mind ("prepare to keep left then turn left then immediately keep right then turn left" etc). But all in all we definitely liked the hotel.
Stay Only as Last Option

Our son's wedding reception was at this location, paid by the bride's family. I was informed that I got a complimentary night for the night of the reception as the groom's mother, the event's manager Chelsey asked for my credit card no. to hold the room. Two nights before the wedding my account was charged $8,388.29 without my knowledge or authorization. It was the same card my son was using for his honeymoon. The day after the reception, when my son got to Aruba the card was declined & they didn't have access to their honeymoon suite. I emailed the Quincy Marriott, Chelsea emailed me the following day that she charged my account by mistake & would remove it. It was on my account for a week!!! I emailed their corporate office...NO ONE has contacted me to apologize for this mishap...their have been no efforts on their end to make matters right. My account would have never gotten this charge if I had not accepted the complimentary, which BTW they CANCELED MY ROOM WITHOUT NOTICE! In addition, my son's & daughter's honeymoon suite the night of the reception was also canceled without notice. If it hadn't been for her mother trying to put the couple's luggage in their room for the following morning, no one would've have known until the end of the night & they would have been left without a suite. Prior to arriving, I called in regards to a block of rooms I reserved for my family, not one front desk representative was able to assist. The only capable front desk representative is the manager Jieling. She was thorough & patient, very detailed oriented. Sadly not every employee is a reflection of her professionalism. I will not take my chances again & stay there. Needless to say, I do not recommend this location. Fortunately, there are so many other great options in the area.
Nice and accomodating

We spent two nights here prior to my son's wedding in Boston; we had a block of several rooms. Convenient location to the venue, but a little difficult to find. The staff, for the most part, was helpful in meeting our needs. The weekend brunch buffet was a little on the high side, with very little for someone who is gluten-free (I was able to eat a made to order omelet and some fruit.) There is plenty of parking, but the fact that you have to pay is one of the reasons I can't rate it higher.
