WOW, such a disappointment. This is a time share, with a very basic pool and small Jacuzzi. The rooms are nice and big,There is nothing open ....on the website it says two places are open, but they are not. At night it is very very hard to see the building numbers, at all.....The signs don't show you 36 building except if you are walking from the parking lot. You are paying to park your own. car. Nothing to eat all all at the property, also. no elevator so be aware of that.I never got. my bill after I checked out.

This is a great place and location. We had a small one bedroom suite for two adults and two kids. It was spacious enough for us. The pool area was great and we spent a lot of time there. As other have said, the restaurant and bar was closed, but we had no issues bringing our own drinks and snacks to the pool. Our suite was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook a lot of our meals. The staff were all very friendly. Overall I would recommend this place.

We are time share owners and this review is based on comparison with other Westin properties. The rooms definitely measured up to the high standards of the other Westins. They were sparkly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was large although the deepest part was 4 feet deep. The hot tub was located in a cave-like secluded area with lots of privacy. We met friendly people each time we used the hot tub and got restaurant suggestions as well. Now for the down side: I felt as if the entire property was holding its finger on the snooze button. To begin with, their only restaurant was closed. The Westin Desert Willows (a few miles away) also had a closed restaurant but at least they had a gift shop where you could buy some food. These villas (Westin Mission Hills) are no longer connected to the Westin Resort next door so you can’t use their pools or charge to your room from their restaurants. When we visited the concierge and asked questions, she handed us a few brochures. She wasn’t anywhere near as detail oriented as other concierges we’ve had. We asked about hiking and we were given a list of trails — no recommendations for specific ones. Parking was free and not a problem. Not all buildings (2 floors) have elevators so beware. The Westin Desert Willows is a classier property. They had cute Halloween decorations out front. There were no decorations at Mission Hills which is a very minor complaint but little details can make a difference to me. Overall, we enjoyed our first trip to Palm Springs. 83 degrees during the day in October and great restaurants. I realize that COVID has had a big impact on the hospitality industry and may explain the less than expected level of customer service here and elsewhere. I hope things will improve as the pandemic recedes.
No Food and Beverage

Had reservations starting November 1st. I called the hotel to confirm my arrival. Gave them my Ambassador number. They informed me that ALL food and beverage operations are closed. No coffee..not even a coke at the pool. They said I could go to the grocery store and buy my food. I cancelled my reservation. Westin cant find help. Had the say experience in Maui. Other Marriott properties had restaurants open. Not the Westin.

My girlfriend's parents stayed at the Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas for their 30th anniversary so I wanted to do something special for them. I contacted the front desk and they had Tracey from the Food & Beverage department call me back. Tracey went above and beyond to ensure their stay was special. Tracey had a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice and flutes with a handwritten note waiting in their room prior to their arrival. It was a wonderful touch and a great way to start of their stay. Additionally, Tracey reached out the Westin Mission Hills Spa and coordinated a special treatment and aroma therapy for the couple. They threw in the aroma therapy (free of charge) and even gave me a 20% discount for the first massage. I cannot speak to the resort as I did not stay there, but I am very excited to book my first stay here with this wonderful staff.
