Good place to stay - very convenient access

Often overlooked by tourists, Regensburg in Bavaria has significant history, a charming old town, and non-tourist-priced restaurants. We had the ground floor two-bedroom apartment (one single and one double, comfortable beds). Access by car was simple and there are free or paid parking options. Hosts were very accessible and responsive by phone or email. The apartment was spacious and included thoughtful extras - such as tea/coffee/cleaning in the kitchen, and Netflix on the tv. I suppose it could benefit from a microwave and toaster, but counter space is limited (and maybe they could be provided if you asked). It's about a 20 minute walk to the old town, but the space and easy access made it a worthwhile choice for us. It's on a busy road, so it is noisy, but the windows keep the noise out well. Also check-in as of 1:30pm is usually available, so depending on your travel plans, it's nice to get in earlier than other options. Contactless entry (when requested by email) was very simple.

Check in guy was very nice. Everything was as expected with a few small things. 1. The couch bed had no sheets 2. The apartment wasn't as clean as it really should be We found parking which was good. The toilet separate from the shower room was very helpful. The kitchen was nicely stocked with a few things that we could purchase. And a few things that were complimentary as well. Not too far from the city center, so we easily drove and then walked around.

Optimale Lage, schöne Zimmer, sauber, alles was man braucht auch Eiswürfel, guter Föhn, Handtücher, schönes Bad, netter Dude mit herzlichem Empfang! Und das zu einem spitzen Preis! Gerne wieder! Parkplatz fürs Auto

Die Wohnung ist an einer stark befahrenen Straße im obersten Stockwerk in einem total heruntergekommenen Haus. Schmale Treppen, verdrecktes Treppenhaus, überquellender Aschenbecher direkt vorm Eingang. Die Wohnung ist ein kleines Loch, Heizung hat nicht funktioniert, Farbe blättert von den Balken ab, Kochstelle total versifft. Die Krönung ist dann das total unfreundliche Personal. Ich kann dringend nur davon abraten!

Eine bodenlose Frechheit diese sogenannte Unterkunft. Die Begrüßung bestand darin, dass wir gefragt wurden, ob wir sofort zahlen könnten. Ohne vorher das Zimmer besichtigt zu haben. Die Rezeption oder besser gesagt der Abstellraum der die Rezeption sein soll war gammelig und roch nach Schimmel. War aber ein Vorgeschmack auf unser Zimmer. Es war nichts geputzt. Der Kühlschrank dreckig. Das wenige unvollständige Geschirr war schmutzig. Im Mülleimer noch Dreck vom Vermieter. Die Messer mit Essensresten verdreckt usw usw. Reine Abzocke. Nur die Kohle schnell kassieren wollen und dafür nicht mal den Mindeststandart an Hygiene und Sauberkeit bieten können. Wasserkocher und Toaster waren im Angebot aufgeführt, aber nicht vorhanden. Leider kann man nicht null Sterne vergeben. Ansonsten hätten wir das gemacht. Der Anbieter sollte sich schämen.
