Absolutely would stay again!

We stayed at this property while in town for a concert. I would have thought from outside the building that this was an older property; nothing was bad, but it just made me think it had been here a few years due to the paint scheme. Once inside - it felt like the builders had just left that same day. Everything was nice, pristine, spotless. The lobby/check-in was this way as well as the room. I have to admit, I am not a hotel snob - but I always joke that some of my family are. This property was everything we would have wanted in a Holiday Inn: nice, clean, comfortable room with welcoming, courteous, helpful staff.
Smells like smoke

This hotel smells very strongly of smoke, and there were bugs (silverfish) in the bathroom. Everything seems a bit run down. The room does have a small fridge and microwave, which is nice, but doesn’t even have a hair dryer. Masks are recommended in public areas, but not required, and pretty much no one is wearing them, despite our being at one of the peaks in the pandemic. There is a hot breakfast which is pretty good, but you get these little slips of paper for the breakfast when you check in, which is odd. The front desk staff at check in was not quite surly, but wasn’t exactly friendly. Housekeeping is only available on the third day, not upon request, per the front desk staff.

Pleasant Stay Near The Woodlands

It's often tough to find a good hotel deal under $100 near The Woodlands, but the Holiday Inn Express of exit 73 did not disappoint. The customer service exceeded my expectations and I wish we had that same service at the Holidays Inn I stay in the Washington DC area. There was a printing problem upon my check-out so I asked for an electronic copy of my receipt. To my surprise, the front desk attendant went looking for me in the parking lot to give me a hard copy. Little things like that makes you feel welcomed and I appreciate that. The rooms were comfortable and around the hotel there's plenty of dining/shopping options within a 2 mile radius. I'll probably come back to The Woodlands area and I look forward to staying here again.

My wife and I stayed here for six nights during a recent house-hunting trip in The Woodlands. It was a very positive experience, particularly given the extremely reasonable rate we were able to obtain. The staff was universally pleasant, helpful and efficient; the room was clean, comfortable and quiet (despite the proximity to I-45); the amenities were nice (we didn't use the pool, but I made extended use of the fitness center on four occasions and used the two printer-accessible computers in the lobby more than once); the breakfast offerings were plentiful, varied and good-quality; the location was convenient. I don't know that I will have the need to find lodging in this area again as we'll be living there in a month or so, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay here again.
