Disgusting! AVOID

Reviewed 13 november, 2022

This hotel is way past needing a reno. The rooms are dated and disgusting. We were only staying here for an overnight stay thank goodness as I couldn't sleep with the state of the room. The carpet is lifting up and very worn.

Wow, what a gracious welcome!

We 3 adults and 2 large dogs arrived tired and hungry, and we greeted with efficiency and kindness. Tiffany at the front-desk made us feel like we were checking into her own business. We were accidentally checked into a room that hadn't been yet serviced, she was horrified. We switched quickly and efficiently. Later that night, she comped me some M&Ms from the little store. Nice experience.

I Stay at this hotel A LOT. Today check in was less than par. As a platinum member I literally got downgraded from a king nice room to a double bed hard as a rock and no microwave. Front desk pointed out I was platinum while downgrading me. Said they were busy. Told them I was happy to wait for another room to be ready but she said they were too busy. The parking lot has hardly any cars and it’s Wednesday night. Okay? I still booked in advance, I’m platinum and got downgraded? WTH. Then went to bar to get a drink and maybe order my dinner. I literally was one of two guests in the room and the bartender was watching tv. Still not busy. Got attitude from the tender who apparently was offended when I asked where the others young lady bartender was tonight.then he proceeded to tell me how wrong I was that she had been my bartender every last other Thursday since May of this year, cause he was working those nights, not her. Really offended. Attitude and beyond. No smile just a very condescending tone and very dismissive. Thru the menu on the counter to me. Sadly I tip very well when I travel on business but not tonight. Didn’t even order a drink and I really did not want to risk my food being handled by someone who was so rude n offended by a simple question. I’m sorry but people skills in customer service are lapsing today. Usually the manager is there having his dinner and a cocktail but he was absent tonight. I wonder if he knows how things play out when he is not right there overseeing the place. Sadly I love this hotel and until today felt comfortable and welcome. Not so much. I hope your experience is better than mine if you stay.

Noisy and yucky rooms. Try somewhere else.

When we ask for a quiet and clean room, they must have misunderstood and gave us a room next to i5, the room had carpet stains and in need of some upgrades. Thank goodness for the loud clunky AC unit which drown out all the vehicle road noise from i5. Sometimes beggars can’t be choosers so ask for a room that is not facing i5. Good luck.

I am not usually this harsh, but "TOTAL DUMP" might be the easiest way I can describe this hotel. I booked 2 rooms using a third-party app. Before I booked I called the hotel and asked if I could get adjoining rooms. I was traveling with 2 handicapped people and an infant and needed to keep a close watch on everyone. The person I spoke with told me it wouldn’t be a problem. After I reserved the rooms I called again to verify. The person I spoke with told me that I would get adjoining rooms, no problem. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that all the adjoining rooms were occupied. I was given two rooms on the far end of the hotel, second floor. This hotel does not meet the normal standards of an IHG. It’s falling apart, smells horrible, and has sketchy people in the parking lot. Do not consider this hotel if you are traveling with young children. The carpet in the room was dirty and soiled. Very poor lighting in the huge parking lot. People yelling in the hallways and slamming the doors. Please be careful when staying at this hotel.
