Oh my God, this place is not only in the bad side of town, meaning homeless and druggies everywhere me and my boyfriend said there for 7 days, not once did they offer room service, the room was gross. After our 2nd night, we started noticing roaches. Nasty!!! We roughed it out with that, but the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. I happened to start my period and didn’t notice until I got out of the shower and we requested new towels and she said unacceptable towel, I’m going to charge you. We also used the towel they gave us for the floor to get out of shower, it got dirty and she said she was going to charge us for that too. I don’t recommend anyone staying here. Over charged for everything. You may ask how come we didn’t go else where, don’t have that kind of money. Don’t stay here

I made a reservation through Booking.com at this Roadway Inn in Redding for my daughter and granddaughter for 6/6-7 but they were unable to get to the motel tonight so I canceled the reservation through Austin. He canceled and verified there would be no cancellation fee and to let Booking.com know I canceled. I did that and they told me they would charge me a one night cancellation fee. I asked through an option on their website that there would be no cancellation fee and they said I had to ask the property to waive that fee. I did so and they were unaware that they had to verify with Booking.com so I called Austin back. He again was most helpful and left information for his boss since he is not working Monday. I will double check with Roadway Inn tomorrow to make sure I’m not charged a cancel fee. All this information is to let Roadway Inn Redding know that they have a valuable, well trained employee in Austin and that he offers his customers superior customer service. He deserves a raise and lots of praise. Thanks Austin. Sue Bartlett

Fire victims and raising the prices.

This place was 129 a night. Dirty beyond belief. Because of fires, they raised the prices. I had nowhere else to go because I was displaced due to the Macfarley fire. I just can not believe the lack of empathy in some people

The night staff was amazing, day staff was not. The floors are hardwood and there were some sticky spots when I walked around in bare feet. Plus, I have a crawling 9-month old... the area was pretty sketchy. Someone was playing music ALL NIGHT LONG and we could easily hear it. No bath tub, only a shower. Beds were okay - they were the super bouncy, cheap mattresses. No breakfast cuz of covid-19, so I can’t comment on that. I would not return.

Check in was easy and fast, room was clean and Wi-Fi worked. Property was clean!!! looks like they just updated rooms. shopping center close by and coffee shop that was a big plus for me!!!! I will be staying here again next time I'm on my way though town.
