Very attractive interior with nice tile work. Hotel is very well maintained, rooms are large, bed was very comfortable ( king suite room), temperature control was good and very quiet, large TV and comfortable couch. Staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. Breakfast quite good for a buffet style which includes made to order omeletsif that was your choice. Close to freeway but room was quiet. Redlands is charming. We would stay there again.

OK but wouldn't want to stay again

I stayed here while attending an event at the NOS in San Bernardino. The price jumped to $300 a night, which was definitely overpriced. Thankfully we got a room on the 2nd floor as some rooms are on the ground floor are entered through the parking lot. I would NOT feel safe at all if we were located there. The room itself was OK but outdated. The carpet in the room gave the impression that it was old and dirty. The bed was very springy but fine, while the pillows were so soft that they turned flat when laying on it. They also do not clean the room unless requested. Because we were only there for 2 nights, we only asked for additional toiletries which they brought to our room. Our room was facing the burrito shop, and it was unfortunately quite loud throughout the daytime with a very loud train horn. Thankfully during the evening I didn't hear this and it was comfortable. What's nice is that the hotel is close to the freeway. There are also some chain restaurants nearby in walking distance (although we didn't go to any). Most notable coffee shop was "Slow Bloom" down the street via car ride. Highly recommend this gem.

Would not stay here again. Pros: nice breakfast with an omelette bar on weekdays, a decent sitting area outside by pool, spacious room, very pleasant staff. Cons: bed bugs strongly suspected (we were apart all day daily and both have bites on our legs and torsos), located directly across the street from homeless encampment and noisy freeway junction, no water pressure in shower, issues with window unit temperature control, and it’s just not that nice. Trying to be kind of upscale and has well done photos but low end motel feel. Also arrived late and did not get the fireplace room we booked. Definitely should have booked the Hilton or a place in a better area of Redlands.

Overall, it's good. El Burrito is steps away. But it's got some weaknesses: noise, as I was on the easternmost side, this was highway noise. There is a commuter train that passes about a 5 minute walk away, and it blares the loudest, most annoying and penetrating air horn regularly all day and some of the night. AC/heat, well, the unit was old and didn't do its job too well. They only clean the room every three days, but I guess that didn't inconvenience me. Breakfast was good.

Very clean friendly hotel. The room was very nice and the pool area was nice and clean . Arienna at the front desk was kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the cook to order chef was very sweet and accommodating. He talked and interacted with my son who has down syndrome who loves making omelets. I highly recommend this hotel.
