Thoroughly F’ing Disgusted

From check-in until now, this has been a terrible experience. The front desk clerk who checked me in was so cold and unfriendly that her demeanor made me feel out of place. When I got up to the room, things went even further down hill. The door looked like someone had tried to kick it in. The toilet was dirty (poop stains were visible). There’s a wrapper for a large listerine bottle still under the sink. The carpet is dirty. There are stains on the closet door where it appears that something may have been spilled and not cleaned up. One of the pillow cases is visibly stained. There’s a hole in one of the sheets. The shower head is so old it feels like I’m being sprayed off with a water hose. I cannot see out of the peep hole, which for me is a safety issue. The heat in the “living room” area of my mini suite works, however, only the air works in the “bedroom” area. I attempted to use this IVY system on the little flyer that came with my room keys. However, it’s proven to be just a great way for a non-professional individual to hide from responding to guests in a timely, professional manner. There’s a dirty power cord right next to the bed, which I have never seen in any hotel/resort room. Again, for me that’s a safety issue. Why didn’t I just leave and book another room elsewhere? Because I am a travel agent and had quite a bit of work to do, in a short amount of time, which includdd traveling to other locations that each took over an hour to get to. I won’t risk losing business by booking any of my clients here. I simply cannot believe this. And my room is on the 22nd floor, however, I hear EVERYTHING. I haven’t had a peaceful night’s sleep since I arrived. This place is absolutely nothing like what is being advertised. The best part of this trip will be checking out.
Most reasonable prices in Town
Reviewed 16 november, 2021
This hotel and casino has the most reasonable room prices in town. Even including the resort fee. In think one should consider the resort fee as part of the room rate. You can get a free ride from the airport if your flight arrives before midnight. This save you a 25 dollar cab ride. The rooms are similar to what you would get in a Days Inn. The staff at the reception are friendly. The Casino is in the main part of town and is part of a complex with two other casinos. You can walk around Reno and visit other sights like the automobile museum. This Casino is kid friendly with plenty of arcade games to keep them busy, while you can gamble your mortgage money away. Reno seems unusual to me in that the Casinos allow you to smoke on the main floor. But, the ceilings are pretty high to cause any inconvenience from other smokers. The Casino was actually built on top of a Silver Mine and this is an interesting titbit of history. You can see the display of a huge mining machine within the Casino.
Front Desk All Stars

After a night out on the town, I arrived at the front desk with a warm welcome. April & Dora went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They made great suggestions and gave awesome tips for activities that we were interested in. April and Dora were personable, knowledgeable, and provided great Guest Service for our entire stay. Who needs IVY when you have April & Dora!

completely disgusting. Huge hair ball in the shower. Used tissue on bathroom floor. Obviously not cleaned during this age of covid. Only two of the five power outlets worked and one of those was occupied by tv/ refrigerator and a desk light. No place to charge a phone unless you unplugged the desk light. Checked out early and was told we would not be charged for 2nd night or resort fees because of filth. Ended up being charged both nights and both resort fees. No social distancing, no masks. 45 minute wait to use elevators standing elbow to elbow. Foreigners here for convention are not required to wait in line like locals making checking in suck and a very long process. If you have the option.... use the Grand Sierra Resort. The Circus Circus is a blank hole!
Staff are Rude and Unprofessional

I stayed in Circus Circus and my stay there was terrible! Staff was rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping takes too long and doesn’t follow your request. Requested Laundry bag and nothing had arrived. Second, Manager Samir is very rude and unprofessional. I ordered DoorDash for 2 consecutive days and they were able to dropped it outside my room, then suddenly on my 3rd day, they said they’re not doing it! Very shady! They’re just lazy to do their job. Not recommending this hotel!
